Thank you all for your support, just remembering all we went through and reading your experiences and support I almost cried.

It was difficult and we did not expect the process to be so hard and emotionally drenching. Our agency told us there were risks; it just did not sink in until it all happened. But I will tell you all that if you take one look at our baby I could never imagine not going through the process all over again if we had to. His smile makes it all worth the pain, the money, and the stress, and yes we will do it all over again but next time I am going to put more demands on the agency and make sure all terminations are signed before placement.

For now we are going to spend some time as a family and thank God for it all working out in the end. Now I have to really start planning this trip it is coming up fast.

For all those in the process don’t let this scare you, remember a judge wants what is best for the child and it will all work out, just keep up the hope and prayers.

As a child of adoption, I say: Such wonderful news! Congrats.

I know you have to be really brave to go through this kind of process. Your child is lucky to have such caring parents.

Congratulations on the adoption. My parents took in foster babies years ago waiting for final placement and I got to witness many families put together. Hope you have a lifetime of happiness.
