OT--Mother caught Swine Flu

Sounds like she still had no choice.. Her DD could not be treated in Florida..

This mom must have a similar health insurance policy to mine.. I can't be treated anywhere out of my state - unless it is a true life or death situation (heart attack, etc.) that results in hospitalization.. I don't think suspected H1N1 would have been considered "life or death" and from the sounds of the child, she would not have been hospitalized..

This may sound silly but I babysit grandchildren, and I too worry about our 8 month old grand daughter getting the H1N1.
We had two of the grandchildren come down with the A flu, and I still had to watch the other 3, with them being here.

I made the one sick stay in the bedroom, away from the other children, if he left the bedroom he had to wear N95 masks. If someone went in the room where he was they had to wear a N95 mask too.
Hands had to be washed coming out of the room and before going back in the room.

It has been a month since the boys had it and no one else has come down with it.
