My heart nearly stopped for a moment there.... Robert sent me a text saying he'd be getting sacked on Friday.... But getting reemployed instantly..... I rang him up and he says its what the Council are doing to all their temps with the big merger thats going on.....

What a shock! Phew!

Can I ask have you finished your trip reports now or is there one still to go? The last one I read was Day 3?

I think she said she'd finish it off at the weekend - I've not seen it posted yet anyway

No Ive not and yes I should get it finished at the weekend if not before - theres 2 more parts to go (day 4 is almost completed) and then the restaurant reviews - unfortunately I've had to go back to work

Hurray - I've finished my project proposal and handed it in.

They seem to be pretty good at sorting out the marks for things for this module, so hopefully I should have the results not long after I get back from Slovenia, or if I'm lucky I might even get them returned while I'm on holiday, although we received an extension which presumably means they'll want longer to mark it now.

It's worth 10% of my final project mark, so I'm hoping for a good mark.

Well done Rob on getting your project proposal finished and handed in. Keeping everything crossed for a great result.

It was fun today as we are on the practical side now. I can't wait for a few weeks time as we are going to working with the fire brigade extracting people. As it is MOD baracks it is also a fire training centre so we have loads of wrecked cars & planes to play with

Evening all, I just got back in from work, boy was that a long day! I had a nice day though, one of the girls in my class got back from Disney World yesterday and she brought me back a lovely Tinker Bell mug (she knows Tink is my favourite), then we looked at her photos in show and tell (I was naming the park and place in the park the pics were taken in!!)

Hi everyone, mind if I join in? I've got 2 kids: ds (6) and dd (2). I'm a stay at home mum 3 days a week and 2 days I work in a pre-school for children with special needs. I'm also currently studying to be a social worker.
We had our first trip to DLRP last year. It was meant to be a one off but we didn't expect to fall in love with it quite as much as we did!

ash is still a bit sick. i was up i dont know how many times with her. she cried till i would let her sleep with the duster. you know those multi coloured ones on a stick. its green, then blue, yellow and pink so she carries it around and tells everyone tinkerbell dress, cinderella dress, belle dress and beauty dress. silly girl lol. i dont know why i buy her toys!!!

lol, the things they'd rather play with sometimes, eh? I know my two are happy with loo roll & kitchen roll tubes. Hope Ash is better soon.
