OT - Help! How big is a Cello? Can I put it in the trunk of a small car?

Nope ! Not for a Toyota Corolla--that will be too tough. I've seen many parents try to squeeze cello /bass in tiny cars and its a very tough fit.

I just want to say how lucky all of you are to be offered this in elementary school. My kids won't get this until middle school. I would love for the kids to play an instrument but lessons outside of school are too much of a time commitment right now. Believe me, I am overcommitted (and should be committed ) right now!

Florida public schools really stink in this regard. My DS 6, has started to play chess and we have to get him a private teacher because they don't even have so much as a chess club at his school.

This school is an "A" rated school in Florida, so considered one of the best.
