OT:help from hockey fans

O.K., I am going to come clean and tell you that I don't watch and am not involved in hockey (even though I am Canadian and do have a son). So having confessed, I am begging for help from all of you who follow hockey-My friend's little boy is turning 3 and has been very influenced by his parent's about hockey, to the point that he doesn't really want toys but hockey stuff for his birthday. HELP, I have no idea what to get him!!!!! First of all, he has every conceivable piece of hockey paraphenalia that was ever created including illustrated kids style books about Bobby freaking Orr!I bought a bank shaped like a puck at the post office because I am pretty sure he doesn't have that and I wanted to get him the hockey Mr. Potato head but when I went back to Wal-Mart they were all gone. He has slight allegience to the Leafs and I think the Bruins. Does anyone know where I could get logo socks and underwear? What else... any ideas???I need to buy something by wed or thurs at the latest. Thanks for any and all help...

I saw at Wal-mart an animated Mickey Mouse doll wearing a Maple Leaf uniform. It played the nation anthem while Mickey waved his hockey stick.

Not sure if your mall has it but go to a sports store like National sports etc they usually carry stuff like that also we have a store in White Oaks mall called Logo Sports that does sweaters pucks sirts mini sticks etc all sports and all teams look for something like that and you will fins lots of great things. Also buy him one with the Montreal Canadiens crast on it he will thank you for it when he is o+lder and knows what a real hockey team is LOL.

Spirit of Hockey store at the Hockey Hall of Fame at BCE Place. It has tons of stuff, like clothing, little souvenirs, collectables etc. And there is stuff from every team. You can also go the their website... www.hhof.com and shop from there and they will ship it to you.

The Hockey Hall of Fame? I don't know where you are but the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto has a great store with all kinds of neat things for hockey fans - small and large.

I saw this too! He's so cute, but wrong team! I wonder if different Walmarts in different provinces would have him, I would really love to get a Montreal one.

My boys love mini sticks. You can get them in WalMart in the sports department. They are little short sticks and my kids play with them all the time. Sometimes they have Toronto ML ones. They usually run about 9.95 or so.

Try in the Sports department for sports towels etc. We saw some team stuff in there last week.

You can also try Canadian Tire, they often have team merchandise there too!
