OK, it's "Desperate Housewives", of course, but we always say "Housecats" because, well... Never mind.
*Anyway*, it started out as kind of silly. Everyone wanted to know who was killed by the airplane crashing down Wisteria Lane. (
). After that, it was a series of "what if's" imagined by some of the major characters. Some were pretty good, others kind of silly.
But, out of the blue during the last 15 minutes came "Lynette's" sequence, involving what it might be like to raise a special needs child.
It was *brilliant*. For those who watched it, the scene in the kitchen where her son is making his own sandwich for the first time while she struggles not to help him had tears rolling down my face. It was as moving as it was unexpected. True Emmy winning material, IMO. My respect for Felicity Huffman grew even larger.
What did everyone else think ?
