OT-Did anyone have a child lose their first tooth at 4?

I freaked out last year too! DD was four when she lost her first tooth, and I posted on here too! She lost her two front bottom teeth, and then we've stalled, there have been no more thus far. She was an early teether from infant on!

My DS lost his first tooth about 2 months before his 7th Birthday. My DD is almost 6 and has not lost any yet. We were just at the Dentist this morning and they told my DD that she has one tooth that is a little wiggly but they don't expect it to come out til probably end of summer or later.

They also said that teeth can be wiggly then not wiggly on and off for quite a while. When your adult teeth are growing a pushing the baby teeth they will seem wiggly. Then the tooth will stop growing for a while and the baby tooth is not wiggly anymore. So, this could go on for a while -but doensn't mean they will lose the tooth anytime soon. (That is my dentist lesson for the day...)

My daughter lost her first tooth at 4. It freaked me out:scared1: . I called the dentist right away. They said "No problem that is normal". She was in preschool and the only one who lost a tooth. My second daughter did it too. Before my kids I had never known anyone to loose teeth so young, even her preschool teacher hadn't seen it before and she'd been teaching 20 years.

My oldest ds lost his first tooth at age 4. I never thought it was abnormal, we decided he's "dentally gifted." Gotta be gifted at something, right? :rotfl2:

My niece had her first loose tooth at age 4. By the time she was in kindergarten/first grade she had lost almost all of her baby teeth, her dentist said she was fine, all kids are different. In a funny twist, her father still has 2 of his baby teeth.
