I wanted to do the adventure boot camp but I haven’t seen much reviews on how intense or “relaxing” it is. I’m not going to be a hotel guest.

Wanted to get a good workout (for more Disney snacks) while also living the dream of running through a Disney park (without marathons and/or castmembers telling me to walk). I am fairly fit and can easily do an easy 10min mile so is it worth it?

I did this February 2024 the day after running the Disneyland Half Marathon. We were staying at the Grand Californian, so I cannot speak to taking the class as a non-hotel guest.

I consider myself a fit person, I run marathons and take HIIT classes. I would rate this class at the very low end in terms of fitness intensity as it is truly tailored to every fitness level. It is a very light jog between the different locations you stop to do various exercises. These exercises were also pretty easy although this is where you can make it harder depending on how you push yourself or what variation of a movement you choose.

Regardless of the fitness intensity, we absolutely LOVED this class. Like you said, it was so cool to be in the park with so few people. You go through and stop in almost every land of California Adventure. Our instructor was great, pointing out hidden Mickey's, etc. You can't bring phones as no photos are allowed. It was such a unique, personal, and fun experience that was definitely worth it!

I am considering trying one of these “in the park, before it opens” exercise activities for our June trip. Any other feedback from people would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t really know this existed until a couple weeks ago. Normally I rope drop park days with a large group then hibernate off days. This time around I’m going to a wedding at the Westin so the world is telling me to go to Disney.
