OT - Chat Chat Chat Away

No it'll be somewhere either still in a postie's vehicle, or in the depot, but not sorted onto the shelf yet.

Its happened to me before - our parcels don't always go straight back to the depot to wait for collection once the postie has tried to deliver it. Sometimes it can take 2 full post shifts before I can collect at the depot.

Even from Saturday though?

Its not really that important, its my hubbies birthday today and what I ordered was a mickey and yoda wee figures with lightsabres from star tours! It was going to be an extra jokey thing for a laugh cause hes star wars daft!
like I said it was only £12 but £12 is alot to me right now!

Good afternoon everyone!! Have just been sorting out Christmas pressies and have just realised that I need to buy a couple more things (smaller bits) for Adam. I swear he had more than his sister; now, she has more than him?!! Hmmm! So, will have to do that next Tuesday as it's my last child-free day for the year lol.

DD is off school today with a bad chest, bit of a rubbish time to be of sick as she will be missing all the fun christmas stuff at school.

Aww hope she's feeling better soon

Is anyone else absolutely perishing cold? I've got the heating on full blast because I'm numb!

I was like that yesterday. I just couldn't get warm at all. We were at home and even had the heating on! Think it was after lunch that I started to feel a bit warmer. It's quite 'fresh' out there today as well. Brrr!

Oh dear God! I just thought the Neighbours out the back were being burgled by a man in a red jumper climbing into their window... I was all set to phone the police when I realised it was one of those Santas that climbs a rope hanging from the window!!!! I feel like a right idiot now!

Eurostar has just left a message on my phone at home. Have to admit I did panic for a bit lol. It was to tell me that the train's now leaving at 8.35 instead of whatever time it was. Not bad... one week before we're due to travel, considering that I didn't expect to hear from them at all and that a few on here were only told like 1-2 days before (if at all).

oooops can I just add that I think everyones kids are as cute as anything its just I saw 2 kids the other day in a piccie and it made my heart melt!!haha!

We've had a shock this evening- Robert's Mum has been diagnosed with a small amount of breast cancer.... She's having to have surgery on Christmas eve. They've caught it early so the prognosis is good.... It's still worrying though....

PLEASE DON'T POST ON MY FACEBOOK ABOUT THIS.... I know I'm friends with a lot of you on facebook, but Robert's brother is on Facebook and they aren't telling him until they see him on Sunday...

Bob, I'm sorry to hear the news. My MIL was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. She had surgery straight away to remove her lymph node and it looks like she is now in the clear. They also caught her cancer early which was a blessing. I hope she will be OK.
