:crazy2: Thank goodness for Half Board vouchers.

Everybody is making me feel guilty with this talk of dieting. I keep thinking it's not worth me starting, as it's only 25 days until my holiday.

Really really hope his temp comes down soon . It might be just a 24-hr thing. My friend's son had it just recently. He was really hot for one day and then the next day, he was absolutely fine again:) .

Hope it is a 24hr thing...the nurse on the nhs24 line said it can last for 3 days, she said to phone her back in an hour if the temp didn't go down....well he had his nurofen at 7 was it?? or 7.30?? and he's had an hour long bath with cool/warm water...did his temp 2 mins ago and it s 35.22!! Don't want to get excited though because the state he's in I know it will come back!
He's drawing right now, says hes not wobbly anymore!:rotfl: He is having some posh ice cream!!:rotfl: .... gonna keep him up for as long as possible!

I'm terrified to sleep just incase something happens, I'm making a camp bed up for him next to my side of the bed. He needs more nurofen at 1am and Im gonna give him a cool bath then too...I don't care if I sound of my head!...

I'm knackered and wanna cry!!lol

sorry for going on and on about it!

But hey Talking of race for life I did it about 3 or 4 years ago...near killed me! But was good!!

I couldn't agree more being both and that's not all everything else falls apart too, in the last 2 years since I turned 40, I've been to the GP's more times with different problems then I had done in the previous 39 years, as my mother kindly said to me yesterday, when she saw my new glasses "You know you're getting old now !" - yep thanks a lot mum.

In work today I was saying that I like to see wee babies in just babygros and cardigans rather than trendy jeans and stuff and how I hate seeing wee ones who can't walk wearing heavy boots and shoes.

I was told by a collegue that I forget that I am an old Mummy :sad1:

Thanks a million

he was til he saw us spiking it with calpol just before 7!lol...he just had an ice pop... he has ate coco pops and milk all day...not healthy but hey ho its all he will let pass his lips!

oh he just had some juice right now!!

Hope he gets better soon

Jacob had a very high temp yesterday when he came home and I thought he would definately be off school today. But this morning up he bounced as bright as a button

We live in North Northumberland.... We don't have enough money for anywhere fancy, we just want something with a roof and some walls.... Lol!

We really fancy Edinburgh though.... Robert's really taken with it!

Bob xoxoxox

Thats the thing though eh as long as you have a roof and each other thats whats important!

I used to stress about stupid wee things like peeling wallpaper, my old double glazing etc...now its a case of 'we'll do it when we can'.... lifes to damn short too want for fancey things etc! Besides its a toss up..disney land or house decor!!lol

I really hope you get to move to Edinburgh .. you might even get a Scots accent!!;)

OMG, do you and Poppyolivia live with me?

My mum tutted at me spending money on a trip to DLRP, she said, 'You could have got a new carpet for that money.' I'd rather have a trip to the DLH than 10 new carpets.:rotfl:

Sorry to keep popping in and out. I'm doing ten things at once.

Know what you mean, we need new windows, roof, carpets, central heating system & kitchen, bathroom in process of being done, only taken us 2 years so far. :rotfl2:
As I explained to my mother, my kids are always saying to me
"Remember when we went to........"
or
"Remember when we did ..............."

if we'd forgoed our holidays for new fittings and furnishings, what's the likelihood of them saying
"Aww mum remember when you had that new light fitting in the kitchen or that new sofa, that was fun"

I don't think so I'll save that for when they're all grown up. :)

I'm exactly the same.:thumbsup2 I would rather have a good holiday than new stuff that would worry me if it got wrecked - which with three kids would!

i am the same here. i really should have waited a bit longer to go back but i borrowed some money from my savings. something i said i would never do but i blame all of you lol.

I've seen two BEAUTIFUL cottages within our price range, but they're in Lanark. Robert had a hissy fit when I mentioned these.... At this rate I'm going to tell him he can look for houses!!! Whatever I find isn't what he wants and I'm ready to choke him! Lol!

I'm just looking forward to having somewhere of our own.... I can't wait to move out!

Lol- Robert reckons I'm practically Scottish anyway....!! Typical Southern attitude! ;) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Just joking, ignore me!

About an hour out of Edinburgh...... I've been before and I really liked it....

Cool, we cant live anywhere rural because of the type of work we do - there are no jobs for us nearby :sad2: I just have to make do with the park across the road!

You are so right :thumbsup2 it is the memories we make for them that stick.

My only problem now is that really have to do some work on the house to sell it as we are moving to the country.DH's parents want us to take over their house and land and build them a granny flat annex.

If I could just access my husbands house doing up account I would book more trips and try and sell our house as it stands :rotfl2: Not that anyone would want our hovel :lmao: You really wouldn't believe my kitchen its a 70's nightmare

I would love to live in the Countryside, but Robert can't stand the idea.... :sad2:

If I didn't love him, I wouldn't put up with him! :lmao:
