Good evening everyone - Ive just got home from my first day back at work.

Id had enough by 4.00 so finished early (well Id had enough by 10.00 really but couldnt finish that early)

Lol... We bought a massive Spiderman Canvas to put away for our house. It's a marvel comic cover and looks really cool! It's nearly as big as me like!

Hello all - just posting this its from the weddings board but I thought you might all be interested .......

I have found my engagement ring!

I am quite fussy with rings (I don't tend to wear them) ao it has taken us a while to me find "my ring". We found it over Christmas in Ernest Jones (a UK shop), however they are are out of stock for my ring size online and in my local stores (we have tried 3!)

However, my lovely boyfriend went to the branch next to his work in Durham and a lovely sales assistant has found us one and is getting it transfered up to Durham. She said there are hardly any left in the UK so fingers crossed I have good taste

The quality of the image isnt too good but I saw it for myself in the Newcastle store a couple of weeks ago and its very pretty up close

He is collecting it next week, and then I have to wait for my proposal! I hope I don't have to wait too long - he says he some organising to do before he asks me

Know how you feel. I spent the first couple of hours answering the phone to be asked over and over again "is the school open today?" I managed not to answer "No I'm just sitting here because I like it more than my home". Then lots & lots of children didn't turn up. When my colleague phoned to find out why, the parents said they didn't know school was open today. I do wonder why we bother sending out the term dates and several reminders of the day we come back because no bugg.....errr....person seems to read them.

Evening guys, boy it is cold today! We had snow too and it was my turn to do playground duty. I was all wrapped up though in my hat, scarf and gloves!! Our office manager was very sweet today, she brought me a bauble and some Tink stationary back from DLRP. Disney treated her really well. She stayed at the SL and as she has been quite a few times they upgraded her room to a big one at the front of the main building. She got robes, slippers, VIP fast passes and they left gifts in her room for her too; wine, nibbles and a lovely clock!!

I was the opposite way - I assumed DD was back today and only realised last week she doesnt go back until tomorrow so I had to do some last minute re planning
