Hello!

We were given new Menus at the Alnwick Garden today (They need confirming yet, but Mariza is confident they'll stay the same!) and I thought I'd show you our selection..... (SW- I think you'll like the dessert choice!):


Canapes:

Mini Crab Cakes
Duck Spring Rolls
Garlic Croutons and Wild Mushrooms (V)

Starters:

Chicken and Pancetta Salad
Tomato and Mozzerella Tart with Balsamic Dressing (V)

Mains:

Supreme of Pheasant with Elderberries and Sloe Gin Jus
Millefeuille of Wild Mushrooms and Artichokes (V)

Dessert:

Ginger Creme Brulee with Hazelnut Shortbread

it was banquet night so we had the lot lol

popadoms, i had onion bahjees dave had something i cant spell or pronounce lol, I had chicken korma and dave had something else i dont remember lol ha i dont pay any attetion to his food i was so hungry we shared a rice and garlic naan and had garlic mushroom and bombalu for side but didnt even touch it too stuffed

all that and two drinks each £30 not bad and its soooo nice in there

You know I've never really tried Indian food, not really into spicy food at all, it took me years to try Chinese food!

The Gardens and Castle were lovely. Your photos will be beautiful there. We went there when we were on holiday last april to see 'Harry Potters' Castle (The rest of my family love Harry Potter as much as I love Disney!) There was a really good Harry Potter doing magic tricks maybe he could come to your wedding

You know I've never really tried Indian food, not really into spicy food at all, it took me years to try Chinese food!

I am exact same i cant eat any thing spicy really flamin hot monster munch it takes me all day to eat them i have to have one or two at a time but chicken korma is gorgoues

Me too. I don't like the smell of anything spicy and although I eat some Chinese food, I am still picky about that.

Whereabouts did you stay?

Alnwick is a lovely little town.... The Gardens are simply stunning! A must visit if you're ever in the area again!

We were at Berwick Holiday Park for a week long dancing competition (read "the worst, longest, coldest week of my life" ) Seriously we were in a caravan with no heaters and that was the week when we got blizzards last april. We had a sea view and couldn't see it through the snow! I spent most of the time in tears because we were sooo cold.

We had a day off from the constant dancing and decided to drive to Alnwick Castle. Didn't really get a chance to look around much of the surrounding area as my other halfs driving gave me travel sickness

Seriously if you could get him the Harry Potter guy looked the total spit of Daniel Radcliffe. Would be amazing to have him in your wedding photos!

Lol- We aren't big Harry Potter people (I had to study it at A- Level, I think I could recite it all by heart!)....

Oh dear!!! Just think of it this way, I have to live like that constantly! It was very cold last April though.... I think you were unlucky with the weather!!
