Hope you're feeling better soon Torsie. At least you were/are able to work from home - so hopefully being all nice & warm will make you get well quicker.
I couldn't or wasn't going to stay home for another day today, so phoned a friend of mine up and she said she was gonna take the kids to the library. So I said I'll join her (eventhough Peter called me up this morning and said it's quite icy out there, so it'd be better if we stayed home). We weren't sure whether it'd be open but thought we'd take the chance. If it wasn't, we'll just go and have coffee somewhere. Anyway, it was shut lol. So we went to McD's, had hot choc & doughnuts, the kids ran around (luckily it was still quite empty then), did some colouring.... we had another drink... then it was time for lunch. So we had lunch there too

. But yeah, it took forever to walk to the main road. It's usually a 5 min walk but took about 20 today. Louise wanted to walk ALL the way to town (usually only 12 mins) but I said NO WAY. We hopped on the bus and even then, it was a struggle to walk to the library. Anyway, we made it there and back without any of us falling over

and I was so glad to just get out of the house. The kids wanted to play out front as there was still quite a fair bit of untouched snow. So I let them and I tried to get rid of the snow on my car. They are now in the back garden - nutters! Gonna get them in a sec.
Sorry, gone on a bit there

Must be the cold - makes me waffle even more.
