Thanks for the  I can't believe after 2 and a half years at uni i wait til the last big bit of work to screw up my degree lol c'est la vie!

Don't worry- I screw everything up beyond belief and still, by some miracle of God, pass things, so you should do fine!!! :thumbsup2

theres nothing we can do about it, we're just going to have to make it up in the text, but i was kinda relying on a good mark from my dissertation to help my overall degree mark coz i suck at exams

I know what you mean, I hated my dissertation & didn't get a great mark. I was struggling because the equipment needed a cable which we didn't have. It could be sent over from another campus but the lecturer kept forgetting & then my supervisor spent more time helping others not in her group then she did her own group:rolleyes2

Its fixable, your write should include what you could do differently etc, what went wrong so just explain it all in the write up. How many words does it have to be?

im using my trip to WDW in sugust as my present for working hard this term

my project supervisor is being so nice about it she said the same as you, to write where you went wrong etc etc. i think its around 5000 words. on the upside i means i wont have to do any stats woohoo!

Thats what I hated with mine, it had to be scientific & involve stats. We had to use software we only had 6 lectures on how to use it, which hardly covered anything. Lucky you only 5000 words mine was 10,000:scared:

Hi all. :)

I've been sick sooo much today, just feel so miserable. :(

I'm hungry but there's nothing i can think of that doesnt make me gag at the thought of it. :( I'd rather be at work!!

I nearly killed myself on the way to town, one part of the pavement was so slippery the only way to get down it was to skid down it and hope for the best. I think Kyra is now scared of the snow.

Me too, i dont know what i was thinking but i assumed all the pavements into town would be clear :confused3

Our road is still a nightmare to get around so im hoping my shopping from Asda arrives in 1 peice tomorrow.

The snow is falling off our trees like lots of avalanches.

Shame the stuff on the ground isnt melting.

Our gritter lorry couldnt make it up the hill either, so we are ungritted.

I really wish it would start melting here. We couldnt get the car up our drive last night because it was so icey- it just kept skiding :(

I'm having two bridesmaids and a Maid of Honour- To mirror Robert having a Best Man and Two Ushers.... :goodvibes

I love colour so I had to have lots of it in the wedding!

What annoyed me was that my brothers girlfriend got told she had to walk into work yesterdat, and she made my brother walk with her. So he is now sick and im suprised he hasnt caught hypothermia. Seriously the woman needs to get a clue, how is she going to cope when my brother has his heart transplant and will be bed ridden for a while she will have noone to make her cups of tea etc.

Every time i go to my mums i have never seen her clean or anything, her bum is permantly attached to the sofa.

Yes, I'm getting one made... A knee length, fifties flared skirt style dress in Emerald Green with black petticoats.... :goodvibes

Emma- Glad you got home safely.... I know how scary the ice is after the last time I drove in it.... :sad2:

Hope you're feeling better soon Torsie. At least you were/are able to work from home - so hopefully being all nice & warm will make you get well quicker.

I couldn't or wasn't going to stay home for another day today, so phoned a friend of mine up and she said she was gonna take the kids to the library. So I said I'll join her (eventhough Peter called me up this morning and said it's quite icy out there, so it'd be better if we stayed home). We weren't sure whether it'd be open but thought we'd take the chance. If it wasn't, we'll just go and have coffee somewhere. Anyway, it was shut lol. So we went to McD's, had hot choc & doughnuts, the kids ran around (luckily it was still quite empty then), did some colouring.... we had another drink... then it was time for lunch. So we had lunch there too:) . But yeah, it took forever to walk to the main road. It's usually a 5 min walk but took about 20 today. Louise wanted to walk ALL the way to town (usually only 12 mins) but I said NO WAY. We hopped on the bus and even then, it was a struggle to walk to the library. Anyway, we made it there and back without any of us falling over :rotfl: and I was so glad to just get out of the house. The kids wanted to play out front as there was still quite a fair bit of untouched snow. So I let them and I tried to get rid of the snow on my car. They are now in the back garden - nutters! Gonna get them in a sec.

Sorry, gone on a bit there  Must be the cold - makes me waffle even more.
