You not up for a WDW vow Renewal then?? ;)

What would you do differently?

Bob xoxoxox

I would invite who I want for a start :rotfl:

I would love to do a vow renewal one day - I fancy Disney cruise vow renewal. In my own mind I want to do it in my 40th year as we will have been married 20 years and I need to do it while I am still half decent looking :rotfl2:

Are the venue willing to make an exception to you & Rob? in that you can pick something different to the guests? The hotel my sister got married at allowed this. It may make it a bit easier for you to choose.

I thought about asking about this.... I'm not sure they'd be up for it though... Especially 'cause a lot of Roberts family would probs start demanding what we were having and we'd get footed with a huge bill!!

Then all the venue have to say it was only allowed for the Bride & Groom. I didn't like christmas pudding so at my sisters wedding the lady made the exception to me & the bestman & we had profiteroles(this was arranged weeks before the wedding). It was allowed as we were on the top table.

Remember your the customer, who is paying for it so in theory the venue should have a little flexibility

We aren't having a top table, we're having a sweetheart table for the two of us, so I suppose it could be done. I think I'll ask them... :thumbsup2

No harm in asking, if you don't ask, you don't get:thumbsup2

:rotfl2: Thanks! I'll have a nosey.

There's also Grass Roots mystery shopping.

Which dessert does everyone here like the sound of best?

Warm sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce
Glazed lemon tart with fresh raspberries
White chocolate cheesecake with Malteser shot

I can't decide on one lol, although I'd agree with you about the sticky toffee pudding being a bit heavy after a huge meal. I think the lemon tart would be quite light & refreshing.

well I am off to bed now, need to be up early tomorrow as I am going to DLRP, Will speak to you all on sunday. have a good weekend.:)

Have a fab time !!

We currently have in mind:

Starters-

Chicken and Pancetta Salad
Vegetables à la Gréque

Mains-

Either The Pheasant, or the Supreme of Chicken with Mozzerella and Parma Ham.
Veggies- Mushroom and Leek Pie

Dessert- ?????

I was going to choose the same starters & mains as you did - although not the pheasant. I love chicken but don't really particularly like the taste of pheasant somehow. Alternatively, how about the roast loin of pork?

Maybe they'll be able to provide you with a different or more tailored menu if you ask them?
