She started in September, she has been ok up until now. Mind you they did have a long time off for Christmas hols so she probably got used to all the home comforts.

aww it must be so hard to be away from home. i remember i went to the gaeltacht for three weeks when i was in school. i rang my mom the second night bawling my eyes out. the next day i was fine but my poor mom was in bits till i talked to her again

When my Daughter was in Year 8 she and her best friend from went skiing with the school in Canada. My Daughter loved it but her best friend absolutely hated it and rang her Mum in tears saying she wanted to come home. Her Mum serioulsy considered getting a flight out there to go and pick her up, she was in pieces.

Does anyone know who Claire (Wideeyes) is flying with today?

As all public & some private workers in France have gone on strike. All Air France flights are cancelled & trains disprupted?
