My friend used to do that, i dont think id be very good at being a mystery shopper lol. I'm not good at many things.

From what I've heard, it's quite simple & straightforward. You can always sign up and do a couple first. And if you don't like it, then you don't have to do anymore. You never know, you might just get into it and you'll be getting paid for shopping ! :)

i would love to go back and do something like that. i find it very hard to get a babysitter for ash. if your brother would mind krya i would go for it

I really wanted to be a midwife but due to my mental health ive been told it would go against me :sad2: as would be working in a nursery.

So courses for them are out the question for me, maybe ill do a course in forensics lol i like crime solving.

emma hunny - dont put urself down.
mystery shopping can be easy - taking notes of time in and out, ppls names, and details.... u can write things down as soon as u leave, if u think ull forget them - and its all done thru the internet too - so much easier.
its worth a try for extra bit of cash - u might find u like it!

I'll have a look into it but i still dont think id be very good at it. I'm not very good at conversing with people face to face that i dont know at all. I kinda freeze and look stupid lol.

I'm a mystery shopper.:thumbsup2 The pay isn't great but it is quite easy.

Emma, have you thought about training to work in pre-school/school? That way, you work school hours and you are at home during school holidays. You could perhaps be a teaching assistant or pre-school key worker. If you trained now, it would be perfect for when Kyra starts school.

Sorry Emma, I missed that when you posted it before. Are you sure you couldn't work in a school, not a nursery? I have worked with people who have had mental health problems and they are allowed to work in school.:confused3 Seems a bit unfair on you.

Thats what my physcatrist told me anyway:rolleyes: , then again she was out to get me which is why i refuse to go back to that place.

I will look into it Joolz, I know that I couldnt get a job as a midwife because of it.

I still think it's worth you finding out. I have worked with people who have had nervous breakdowns and who have been signed off long-term with depression. I think your psychiatrist is wrong. You should think about it as it helps so much when you have children at school. My friend works as a physio part-time and she just can't cover the school holidays - it's a nightmare. My cousin is a dinnerlady (midday supervisor!) and also works in the breakfast and after-school clubs. These might be other options to consider too.

My Mum did an evening class to become a qualified Classroom assitant... She really enjoyed that! That might be something worth looking into for you! :goodvibes

I am watching Grand Designs - what amazes me is where these people get the £££££ for these houses. Think I may have to work DH a bit harder :cool1:

Just another thought Emma, how about something from home, I have done Avon a few times,Good luck in your quest :goodvibes
