TG list is posted! I'm in TG at 546 searches with 100% across the board! Yeah!

I quit checking - I have been a TG since July and have always had over 300 searches- I've never been on the list- I'm not worried about it- when I need to miss work- I check it out then.

Good luck finding out why you are not on the list- post the answer for us so we can learn too.

I am worried about TG next week- some how I kept losing my green 'save this page box'- at least 8 or 9 times- I lost the search and had 0.00 in earnings-

I'm pretty sure that I will be 'dim-in' it next week!

Yippee... I made top guide! One week in and I did it. Question tho... they listed top search winners and I was wondering how long you are considered a Rookie? Is that just for your first week of doing ChaCha and then you are ranked with everyone else?

The rookie is the first week only. So say you start on Wednesday, your rookie week ends Sat evening.

The Consecutive Pay list is only if you did NOT hit 200 the week. If you made it on the regular top guide list, you shouldn't appear on the Consecutive list. It worked for me, I've been top guide for several weeks, and then one week babysat (night and day) and got like only 100 questions in. That week I appeared on the Consec Pay list and kept my 20 cents.

I have to say that I HATE HATE HATE the who is so and so from xxx questions. I swear I am lucky to find them 50% of the time. Why do they think that everyone is on the internet?! And half the time it's their teen friends who I can't find addresses or phones for b/c they still live at home and it's under their parents name.

I was also wondering if , when you get a person asking about a 'name' with no other information. can you put info on ANYONE with that name? for instance going into genealogy.com or something with old census records & using that as a reference?

If google doesn't give me a good hit, I go to www.anywho.com and type in the name/city. I give them whatever is listed and if no listings are found, I put, "I'm sorry, there is no one named XYZ listed in ABCity. Please retext with more information so we can answer your question."

What I do: If its "Who is Jane Doe from Tallahassee, Florida?"
I enter it into pipl.com and see if a myspace profile comes up (or facebook). If not, I'll say No results for Tallahassee, but there's a Jane Doe who is 27 from Jacksonville. She likes music and plays guitar.

If its "Who is Jane Doe?" I put quotes around the name and just google it (or send it through ChaCha search.) Mostly I get the page that links their place of business and where they went to school. That works. (Linkedin).

If all else fails and I can't find anything for the name I type it into howmanyofme.com, and say, No results for info on Jane Doe from Tallahassee, but did you know there are 14 Jane Doe's in the US?

Hi everyone! I'm new here.

I've been sending $1000 a month to pay off cc debt and I'm down to $3500. I'm hoping to make some extra $$ through ChaCha to get that paid off a little more quickly. I would love to start the new year with a $0 balance, but I think that is a little out of reach.

Anyway, I took the practice test, or whatever it is called, and now am not so patiently waiting for the result. Does it seem like most people get approved? I wish I would get an answer soon!

They say your results could take up to a week. I found out in about 1 1/2 days. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent in a question just to see what the response time would be. It took about 15 minutes to get a response. Of course, I asked a question about IndyCar racing and not a lot of people would know where to find that information.

what is the steps in testing?
just how hard is the typing test? is it timed? can you fix your mistakes ( by backspace etc)

can you read ChaCha forums to read first before signing up??
