Hi Everyone,

We have never seen the light show and I have been reading other posts on the lights and I still have a few questions.

Still at HS?

Every night starting in Nov 7th?

Does the music only happen when they are first lite and if so what time?

and what time should we get there?

Where is the best place for viewing?

Help is so appreciated!

Hi Everyone,

Still at HS? Yes

Every night starting in Nov 7th? yep

Does the music only happen when they are first lite and if so what time? in 2012, the music and light show played on a continuous loop

and what time should we get there?anytime after dusk, and they stay on until an hour after park closing

Where is the best place for viewing?you walk through it, you have too its too big to see from anyone place

Help is so appreciated!

My responses are above. WE love it, pictures do not do it justice.

It is at HS still.

It is every night I think.

The music is on a loop. It plays and goes on for a while then stops. Then later the whole things starts again.

I forgot what time they start but that can be easily looked up I believe on Disneys web site.

Basically it is a street scene show. There is no one best place to se them. They are hung all over the back lot area on the buildings and along the streets. You will want to walk the whole street scene to see all the lights. It is not a sit in one spot or sit down at a location show.

The very first time we saw the lights, we had hit it right during a stop in the music. We were thinking - "wow, what's the big deal, it's just WAAAAYYY too many lights (& people)!" We heard music playing AFTER we left the area (we didn't stay there long).

Our next day at HS, I noticed that the lights were described as "dancing lights" and we decided to go and see them turn the light switch on thinking that maybe that was the "big thing" to see. Well... we were blown away!!!! I think we wandered around for about an hour.

Now, we just LOVE seeing them dance. Although it tends to be very crowded, we tend to stay quite a long time. Seeing the lights dancing from each end of the street and from the very middle.

The middle is amazing because you can just keep looking around (360's) and it's like you're IN the lights. But, I like standing at one end so I can see all the different movements - it's amazing how the lights change to the music.

Oh, and the music changes. Once one cycle is over, the next cycle will be different music. I don't recall how many cycles they actually have but we have some favorite music that we wait around to hear.

Don't feel like you have to be there for light up. LATE at night (when it's REALLY dark) is a very good choice.
