Seen these before, to be honest if you really want to see Orlando by air you need to check out the 'Live Maps' website much better than any still photos.
It's different class as you can move the angle of the image, change direction, travel down an enitire road or beach, including WDW, Universal, hotels etc all you need is a zip code or address and switch to 'birds eye' view.
If you want to for example see how close a hotel is to the beach this is the place.
Here are some images I have copied, the top one is Disney's Boardwalk, second is Universal Studios and third Fort Lauderdale beach.
If you are on the image online you can change the camera view, to North/West/South/East so you can view from different angles, but even better you can actually move the camera so you can follow a road to see where it lead etc
I see it uses Microsoft's Virtual Earth, Johnny (in the same way that Google Maps uses Google Earth to do exactly the same thing). The images seem a lot clearer than those on Google Earth, but, unless I'm doing something wrong, it's very limited in terms of how far you can zoom out or scroll . With the Google version, there are no limits.

You can zoom in and out using the - + or by using the mouse also, you can click and drag the images across to the left, right, up or down, to follow a road etc and you can change direction using the N/W/E/S to see a different view and use the small map on the right to navigate also.
Below the - + there are two 'swirly' images if you click on them it changes the angle.
Definitely Claire, we have used when looking at villa's a lot, one or two we enquired about were advertised as south facing, but when we look on the maps site it was obvious they were not.
We also know exactly where a really nice mall is , International Plaza at Tampa, which we may stop off when we spend a day at Clearwater next year.
So whilst it's good looking at the images it works well in other ways too.
Not that other sites like Google Earth aren't good we prefer the microsoft one.

Given my flying fear I don't think my stomach could take the helicopter tour, but s nice seeing aerial views of the castle at Magic Kingdom on the live maps site.
