Original Little Mermaid VHS

I have the Original VHS Little Mermaid released in the Summer of 1990. I heard that the cover art is no longer used. Does anybody know if this is worth anything? Im not going to sell it, but I was just interested in knowing. I still watch it all the time!

It is no longer being used. There is an urban legend regarding one of the spiers. Since this is a G-rated board, I can't say what it resembles.

Not an urban legend. We have the original poster art of the video cover and it is quite clear.

I'm sorry to admit that the original video does usually carry a premium price, especially when the the term "BANNED" is used in the eBay title. However, you can still easily find them at a reasonable price with a little patience.

For me, the "snuck through" artwork represents some very angry artists in the beginning of a very bleak point in the companys history. I sold my copy last year because everytime I looked at that cover it reminded me of Michael Eisner.
