I have a ton of pictures that are sitting around that I need to organize. These are older, non-labled non-digital. I'm not sure the best way to do this and to store them. A lot are still with their negatives in the paper sleeves! It's bad, I know :rolleyes1 I can say that my "My Photos" on my computer is insanely organized.

I know that I have the same problem that you do and still am finding photos in boxes. Creative Memories sells a power sort box that you can put and orgainize you photos. I love it. I know that they are a # of consultants on this site that will be more than willing to help you with that.

Yes, I love my power sort box. You have dividers and smaller boxes inside the power sort box. I actually keep a few on hand just in case my customers need one at a moments notice. When you set down to organize photos, you never want to wait too long or the moment goes away.

Power sorter!
Mine are divided this way. 1 for each person, our wedding, living in Hawaii, Living in CT, animals, WDW (sorted by trip), vacations, etc...

Mine are chronological in their old paper sleeves in a photo box. They've all been scanned in and are dated chronologically on my computer too.

I have that huge power sorter box and I love it!!!! You have to get it! Mine is full!!!! The only thing that means is that I have soooooo much scrapbooking to do!!!! YIKES!!!!! :lmao:

Anyway, it's a great place to store your photos while you are waiting to crop them! They don't get dirty and the lid has a place for oversized photos!!! I really love mine!

Looks like I need a new CM consultant then. My old one up and moved on me.

I use my power sort for older pictures and the time is coming for me to buy a new one. I use the mini power sort to organize current vacation pictures I am working on.

You can find a consultant near you by going onto www.creativiememories.com and typing in your zip code. CM is also doing direct ship so even if you are in the southern part of your state, you can order from someone in another part of your state.

The Power Sort box holds up to 2,400 photos and comes with 12 removable compartments and dividers, sells for $35.

The mini sort box holds up to 600 photos and comes with 3 removable compartments and 6 dividers.

I use the mini one to hold the pics for my upcoming pages with the others waiting in line in the big powersort box. I wish it came with more dividers though. And I've got to get more neg-care envelopes and strips as I found a whole batch of really old photos and negs in a drawer!

I also stick surplus photos in there - I don't know what I'll do with them, probably just stick them in an old album (I hate to throw any pics away unless they're really blurry - or of me!):thumbsup2

I think you can buy more dividers, right Lisa?!

Yes, you can order additional dividers.:) There are twelve dividers in the package and the cost is $4.00 per package.

Another thing is if you host this quarter then you can get the mini bon bon power sort as a hostess gift
