So what would be suggested? bakers melting chocolate in a cup or chips?
I made the inside. It is in the fridge chillin'. I might dip them later (not sure if I am in the mood to sample them).
OK I need to ask, does it look like poo? I showed it to my husband & he just made a face & then he tried it & wanted more.

I did it in around 4 batches of cookies to not fill the bag too full. Then dumped them all together to mix with the cream cheese after they were crushed.



OHhhhhhhhhh I just made these and forgot the vanilla!!! Do you think it will matter. OIY!!
. they tasted good. like an oreo I'll add the choc. later I did 3 batches of them. one was a mint oreo, tastes like a thin mint. (again, i had to check) I felt silly in the store with 3 boxes of oreos and cream cheese. I ended up telling the cashier that i wasn't an oreo addict, I was making truffles. 
I made the oreo ones last year and a co worker fondly named them "death balls"! He said the only thing that would make them better would be adding liquor.
Anyone try that? Obvioulsy I would keep them seperate from the general consumption cookies!
What type of liquor would I use? how much?
I don't know how much you'd use, but I've heard of people using: coconut rum, kahlua, raspberry vodka/rum, amaretto, creme de menthe
