Orbitz- how often do they change prices?

Does anyone know if there are certain days Orbitz is most likely to add flights and update prices???

We have been holding out waiting for reduced fares for our Feb. trip. They were hovering around 500-600RT for two people. Now they're up in the 700's.

Any tips????? I saw a great fare once at work, and drove the 20 minutes home to book it.... by the time I got home, the rate was gone!!!!!!

Orbitz gets its data directly from the airlines' own reservation systems. It doesn't maintain its own inventories. So the availability data is up-to-date (within certain parameters), and the pricing information changes whenever the respective airline changes pricing.

Airlines often try out new fares (higher or lower fares) over the weekend. If other airlines don't follow-suit, they may restore old fares on Monday.
