Mini Golf question

We have six people in our room. Do we only get 4 vouchers? That doesn't seem right.
Yes only (4) vouchers per package. It has always been that way. If you have more than 4 guests, you are out of luck.

There is no reference to Mini Golf or ESPN in the "Tickets and Passes" of my MDE account.
Since they are part of your package they will not appear under the MDE account for the Primary package guest until your package is activated.

Dave

It is 4 vouchers per package; it is not based on number of guests. Do you have one room or multiple rooms? If multiple rooms and each are packages then you should have 4x the number of rooms (8 vouchers for 2 rooms, etc.)
We have two rooms, two reservation numbers. I assume each reservation number is a "package", but could be wrong. Total of 11 people.

So would this mean we'd have to pay for three people to play (if all 11 want to play)?
Can vouchers from one room be used for the other (six people in one room want to play, but no one in room 2 for example)?

When does a package become "activated"? At check in?

I asked a CM on chat about this because I can't see our magical extras (checked after reading this thread) and they said it doesn't show up until you pay in full. But to be honest, I didn't see them our last trip and we had a package too. So we'll see!

Yes you only have a total of (8) vouchers, 4 per package as @lanejudy indicated.

Official answer is no the vouchers are nontransferable between packages.

We should be paid in full at this point. 🤔

Well, that sucks.

Are they assigned to certain people on each reservation, or just whoever is first to claim them?

I wouldn't say "out of luck" just not completely free. If you have a party of 6 with only 4 vouchers, you are still getting discounted $76 and only paying $38 ($19/pp). Divide that final cost by all 6 and everyone plays for just over $6 each. Not entirely free but still one of the cheapest activities on property.

Does each reservation involve both a room reservation + tickets (+ maybe DDP)? Do you have final payment due 30 days prior to check-in? Then it's a package. A room-only reservation has balance due at check-in

Yes, thank you.

How are the vouchers assigned when there's more people than vouchers? I can easily see this situation happen... for the two rooms, six people from Room A want to play, and one person from Room B wants to play. Do we say "we have seven players", then each person scans their MB/KTTW, and they see vouchers eligible for five?

You don't see them in advice. They should appear on your actual package start day morning in your MDE account even if you used Advance check-in.

No just (4) per package (as a pool) but you would need to have someone that has access to each of the packages available at time of use if you are wanting to claim more then (4) vouchers.

Dave

I believe the vouchers are just assigned to the lead guest of each room, but anyone in the room can use them. I've never been in your situation but I would expect probably one person from each room scans and indicates how many vouchers to use from that room -- so someone in Room 1 scans and uses 4 vouchers, someone from Room 2 scans and says 3 vouchers. I think it will work that way. If they require each individual to scan, then you'll need to pay for 2 because they'll see 6 guests from 1 room and 1 guest from the other.

This actually might work. I think all six from my room will play and one from the second room. In which case, presumably we can cover all seven?

On our tickets page it appears that Disney comped us either 1 day of ESPN Sports visit or 1 Round of Mini Golf. We are thinking on doing the mini-golf the Sunday we arrive as we dont intend to do the parks that day. My question is where is the mini golf at and how do we arrange to participate in it?
There are several places for mini golf:
-One of them is at Fantasia Gardens and Fantasia Fairways at the WDW Swan Hotel. The Fairways course is made for skilled players while the Gardens course is more family friendly. To reserve the mini golf, you need to contact 407-939-7529 at least 24 hrs prior to your intended tee time. If you show up for a walk-up tee time without calling, the availability may be extremely limited.
-If your arrival date is after June 16, you may also wish to consider the Winter Summerland course near Animal Kingdom. Only the Summer course is currently open with only walk-up tee times and no reservations, but after June 16 both courses will be open. No need to call the reservation number if you're heading in before June 16 in this case. However, you may want to prepare for slightly longer waits to get in.

As I said, I haven't done it before but I think you can probably cover all 7 between the vouchers for the 2 rooms. If not, it's still only paying for 2 -- and if any are kids make sure those are the ones you pay for.

If we do it and I remember, I'll report back. :D
