I agree with Skallywag (sorry we didn't get to meet up Bren), that it was the food preparation that was a problem. Most of the meals I ordered were overcooked.
We preferred dining at Topsiders after the long shore excursions - rather than spending more time in the dining room for so-so food.
My personal feeling is that the combination of new (Mediterranean flavor) dishes and new staff caused the quality problems.
However, an interesting note. Our waiter mentioned that they would not have Mickey Mouse ice cream bars on the future cruises. Once they run out of the bars on the ship that'll be it for the summer, because their European supplier fell through. After they run out they'll just offer regular ice cream bars (can you imagine a Disney cruise without Mickey bars?)
But I must say that the even though I do think the food was subpar, it didn't detract from our vacation at all.
