Does anyone have any recent experiences with how long it has taken Orang County to record your DVC deed? My title company said they sent it about a month ago and are still waiting. Anyone else have to wait this long?

My title company filed it electronically and it only took one or two days to show up online.

Resale deeds have been averaging about 11 to 12 days from the date the warranty deed is signed to the date it is recorded by the Orange County Comptroller.

I've been tracking resale deeds for the past several months and the number of days from signage to recording has been as short as one day to as much as 53 days.

I am a new DVC owner and my deed recording took only 2 days from closing (closed 8/29 and deed recorded 8/31). Curious why some are way longer than others. Is it filing via regular mail vs electronically perhaps?

Paper submission versus electronic filing probably explains some of the delays. Unfortunately, there is no way of telling if an OCC record was filed via paper or electronically, so there is no way of measuring the processing times for the two types of filings.

Depends on the Title company not really the County Register.

Magic Vacation Title Co. handled our recent AKV resale purchase and they did a great job of processing as fast as Disney let's them and also communication by email was very timely, I would definitely use them again and there price was very competitive.

I agree did a great job for me!! now just waiting for Disney to mail me my membership# 2 weeks I heard could be longer Hurricane Matthew

The points on our second contract at AKV actually got loaded today into our account, so they might have people outside of Florida working on these things. Our Deed was recorded on September 23rd to about 13 days for the points but haven't received our letter and hard copy of deed yet.
