Opinions - Yachtsman or Narcoosee's

I've never been to either so looking for opinions on which people prefer - I'm not sure if we'll have enough credits left to do both.

Narcoossees and citricos are my two favorite restaurants on property! almond crusted cheesecake is to die for. I love the filet and DH gets the lobster, and the crab cakes!

I say Narcoossee over Yachtsman because we enjoy the food, ambiance and view from there more. Narcoossee's is primarily a seafood restaurant while Yachtsman's specialty is steak so that should be your main criterion. I must say, however, that one of the best steaks that I have had at WDW was at Narcoossee's and one of the worst at Yachtsman.

Thanks - I've got a Le Cellier ressie too, so there will be no shortage of steak

We do like some seafood, and I've been looking at the surf and turf - I've never tried lobster and since I have the dining plan and there will be no shortage of food, I figured this might be a nice chance to try it

We love Narcoosee's! If you go, you MUST have the almond crusted cheesecake. The best dessert on WDW property, hands down!

I haven't been to Narcosee's either, but am from NH and Maine Lobster, if you are going to try it I would suggest getting the whole Maine instead of the steak and lobster tail, as it's rock lobster, which isn't anything like the Maine lobster at all.

Narcoosees, hands down. Yachtsman is good, but it is a fairly run-of-the-mill steakhouse. We enjoyed our meal there, but don't feel any burning desire to go back. Narcoosees, on the other hand, became an instant must-do, both for the excellent seafood (and AMAZING cheesecake, it does live up to all the DIS-hype!) and for the one-of-a-kind view.

I am surprised that some say narcoossee's over Yachtsman. Not because I agree but Yachtsman gets more thumbs up than narcoossee's, what i have read anyway. But I like Narcoossee's better. I like the food and atmosphere. I love the short water show and watching MK fireworks at night. But again the Yachtsman makes a fine meal too.
