Does this sound do-able? I figure I'll go to the Osborne lights right when they open, then about 6:45, while Fantasmic is on (keeping the park fairly clear to get through), I'll walk over to the walkway by Boardwalk, enter Epcot (how long a walk is it?) through the International Gateway, and see Illuminations. I'll be solo, so can move a little more quickly than if I were with little legs or pushing a stroller. What do you think? Will I get to see both and enjoy myself? Or will I keel over from exhaustion after all the hurrying around that I might have to do?

We just got back. They had Fantasmic at 6:00 this week, it was over about 6:25. We were right at the entrance of Osborne Lights when it opened at 6:00, we walked through and were exiting the park and heading for the boat to Boardwalk right as Fantasmic ended (the theater is right next to the entrance). Illuminations is at 9:30 during the holidays, so you would have no problem doing both. I would take the boat rather than walk, it's a long walk all the way to Epcot. I noticed when we were on the boat that night that the walkway was pretty deserted.

Thanks for letting me know about the walkway being sort of deserted. Since I'll be solo, don't think I want to walk in that kind of area. The boat definitely sounds better!

The walkway is very well lit. We walked it just last week. It is kind of far but if you're used to walking you will have no problem. It's faster than the boats.

Walk or boat, you shouldn't have a problem. Keep in mind that the boat does take forever. First stop Dolphin, then YC then BW.

I agree that you shouldn't have any problem doing both. I'd probably check to see if the boat was at the dock and take it if it is or walk if it's not. If you're tired and just don't want to walk, you probably will be fine taking the boat. It is a slow boat, but for some reason that boat actually seems to be faster when it comes to docking than the ones that service the MK resorts.
