Opinions on RCI properties near Disney

that stinks! I can't believe they tell you where you can & can't stay!

Hey, I just posted to another post you made, and didn't realize it was you. Looks like we both wound up at HICOL, I think it will be fine. The 3 bedrooms sound nice. Regarding Disney Villas, I guess it makes sense (for them) to restrict booking from competing timeshares, otherwise everyone would buy elsewhere then book at Disney, just wish my sister had bough elsewhere .

Yeah believe me... We booked it ... Disney.. And we paid... Guess what we own at silverlake ... So 4 days later... She called and told us the same thing... It was for our 20th wedding anniversary..

Sorry. I wondered what would happen if I booked at WDW,and if they would check to see what her home resort was. BTW, I asked, if you buy in Orlando, then buy elsewhere (say Branson for example) you can combine points and still book Disney. Gee, I need to talk my sis into buying another timeshare elsewhere !

Has anyone stayed at the Fountains? How close is it to Disney? If we shift our date by one day, we can book there...

The Fountains is approximately 5 miles from Disney, we stayed next door to it and I personally found it a very easy drive. I like the location because it's on the quieter end of I-Drive.

THATS WHERE WE ARE STAYING IN JULY.... HIOL... WE GOT A 3 BEDROOM EAST VILLAGE BY THE RIVER ISLAND... IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THE WHOLE FAMILY...
