This has drifted far from the original question asking to compare OKW with BCV.

It also seems that the usual detractors are making their usual "contributions".

For the record- DVC offers no Deluxe Resorts- all are "Home-Away-From-Home" Resorts. The characterization that some are more "Deluxe" or more "moderate" won't be found in any of the DVC publications All are Home-Away-From-Home Resorts.

To the OP that started this discussion. Just remember many can not seperate "fact" from "emotions".

No resort is the "best" only different in what they offer. What they offer is "best" for some and not for others.

OKW offers really large units with lots of space to spread out. Also in my opionion due to the size of the units they are quieter. I mean the neighbor is further away. Only makes sense. Beautiful views from almost any location. Wonderful friendly staff. The only resort at this time, SSR will change this, that is completely DVC. Others are a combination DVC, nonDVC resort. Boat transportation to Downtown Disney. Travel time to MK and AK will be similar to BC villas.

Beach Club villas certainly has a great pool, but it can be very crowded at certain times of the year. I personally think this resort is the worst for a quick meal. Beaches and Cream is a joke as far as fast food goes. The rooms are really lovely and plenty of room but not as large as OKW. The hotel layout does at time cause more noise next to you and in the hallways than the layout of OKW. The hallways are very nice when it rains though. Location to Epcot and MGM is wonderful, but bus rides to AK and MK can be long. Views are not great, but ok. It was built in the orginial parking lot, so that explains the view problem. At times the staff at BCV lacks the spirit of enthusiasm that you find at OKW.

I think both have alot to offer and either place would be a great place to stay. One is not better, just different. Obviously some like the same thing each trip, personally we don't.
