I need to use up some points and was thinking of doing a short stay at VB, they only have Deluxe Inn rooms, how do they compare to a studio? Does the view really matter between the 2 types of rooms?

we LOVED our Inn room. true, there are 2 beds instead of a bed and pull out couch. but you still have teh fridge, sink, microwave, etc.
we think it was nicer to stay in the Inn. prettier. you can get an ocean view. we didn't ;pay forr that, but requested
pool view. w e were in the 2nd room farthest from the ocean, and we actually did have a semi ocean view. our room was Lshaped, and huge! the actual corner room next to us? our "neighbor" showed us, and it was huger still.
request a corner room if you want a larger room.

IMHO... I prefer the Inn rooms over the Studio. The layout is much better... feels like they have more room. THe BIGGEST difference is if you can get an Ocean View Inn Room. The views are simply breath taking.

But which ocean view you get, ?. My last one was standing on a chair, all the way to the left side of the balcony, waiting for the palm and the wind to cooperate! That was a waste of points! The previous time we'd had a better view. I don't expect spot on, smack dab in the middle, but I do expect more than a thimble size view of the ocean if I'm footing the points for it!

I'm not a complainer or one to move, so I said nothing, if I had they might have moved us or refunded the points, who knows. The room was fine, the resort beautiful, 2 nights of peace!

I also agree. We don't actually prefer one layout over the other, but we do like an ocean view. You actually have a much better chance of an ocean view in the Inn Rooms than in the Studios. There are far more Inn Rooms and most of the Studios have garden views.

We prefer the inn rooms to a studio. DH insisted that we try a studio once, that was it. OTOH, if only a studio was available, we would take it!

Thanks, I'm gonna try the inn rooms, and go for whatever they have available, hopefully most people are done with their vacations the last week of August because their kids are getting ready to start school

DH and I are planning trip in spring. Thanks for the tip, will ask for an Inn Room. This is why I love this forum, we would never have imagined an Inn Room would be better than a studio!
