When we last left off, we were getting ready for our first dinner on The Disney Wonder. Our dining rotation had us at Parrot Cay for the first evening. We were met by our servers and settled in for a nice dinner. I cant recall exactly what everyone ordered, but it was okay. I cant really say that it was anything wildly exciting, but it wasnt bad. Here are a few pictures. Notice PG's yummy-looking dessert.
After dinner, Private Goofy decided to head to the kids club and check things out there. Private Happy and I decided to explore the ship. We loved the elevators, but they were a tad small, especially at embarkation time. The pools were small, of course, but seemed great to those enjoying them. We didnt have a chance to do so throughout our entire trip, because we had other things to do. But, next time, well be sure to take a dip, at least once. The hot tubs looked relaxing, but I didnt get in. Maybe next trip.
We checked out the teen area, but my teen wasnt interested at all. We did find the basketball court, which he would enjoy later in the trip. We checked out the shopping and located the other restaurants that we would be enjoying later. We found ourselves getting hungry, so we decided to check out Plutos for a snack.
Here are a couple of pics from our evening on deck.
Shortly after, it was time to pick up PG from the kids club. He had nothing but nice things to say about it. He couldnt wait to return the following day. By this time it was nearly midnight. So, we decided to get some sleep, since the next day would be an early one, to be filled with lots of fun! I decided to fill the boys in on the final surprise of the trip. We would be going on an excursion, and it would be one that they wouldnt soon forget.
Oh, after dinner, we found our beds set up, sheets turned down, and this sitting on my bed.
