She has to be REALLY loud if you can hear her from another building! Are you going to complain about it? Maybe she just doesn't know how loud she is.

OP -
Maybe you should record her 'performance' and play it back at an opportune time...
Maybe you should learn harmony parts to her 'solos' and start singing along through a microphoned-megaphone...
Maybe you should get a copy of LuAnn DeLessep's "Money Can't Buy You Class" or Kim Zolciak's "Tardy for the Party" and blast your selection through a killer sound-system...
agnes!

She sings directly in front of an open bay window. My windows are open. Opera is loud. Sound travels. No, I'm not going to complain. She's in her house. Within time that noise is allowed. Unfortunately, she's not breaking any rules.
Opera is just not my kind of music. That's not her fault.
You're a good person.

.. .by the time we knew how loud they REALLY were, we had too much money in lessons and instrument invested...(hey - paid off in the long run - I got a trip to L'Orient France and Glasgow out of it - he was too young to travel alone with his band...).Well at least it's just singing, and not what I used to hear my old upstairs neighbors doing...it was quite loud, involved a few people, and I heard a whip cracking more than once...![]()
