We needed a verandah room that would hold 5 (which was 4A, 4B or 4C). The CVP gave us several options in those categories and we picked the one we wanted. We started to get a 4A on deck 10, but the 4B on deck 8 was the same kind of room but with a little bit bigger verandah (in the center of a slight curve on the side of the ship), so we got that one. I was pretty flabbergasted that we were able to actually pick our room on Day 3! So definitely, tell the CVP what you want! It might just be available.

Started calling at 8. Disconnected twice after putting in Castaway number. Busy signal for an hour. On hold for an hour. Agent was super patient and helpful. I called back at 11 and barely a wait. So definitely busiest first thing in the morning.

We are a party of 5 but I included pricing for 3 to keep it simple. We ended up booking two (4C) rooms B2B. Was tempted to do the concierge because there wasn't a big difference in price but opted for more space since our boys are all over 18. Very pleased with the rooms we got.

My point was that the only sailing I saw any restrictions on with using anything was the Maiden. Since you used it on something other than the Maiden, it was allowed.

Called at 8 sharp. For 31 minutes, it either rang busy and I couldn't get through or when I would put in my castaway club number, it would go busy and drop the line. Finally got through at 8:31. Was on hold until 10:06.

I had the deck plan open on my computer and my stateroom preference wish list (no pun intended!) I asked for cat 4. The CM said no 4As available but he had 4Bs and 4Cs. That is when I gave my wish list of side of ship, high deck, near elevators, bump out room, etc. and he gave me my options.
