Does anyone know if there is any open WiFi available in the Disney Parks? My camera has a built in WiFi adapter and can upload to the internet and email pictures right from the camera. I though it would be neat to be able to send pictures to my family as I take them rather than waiting to upload them when I get back to the hotel room. If no Wifi how about a T-Mobile hot spot? I don't suppose Starbucks has infiltrated the mouse house?

idk but thated be cool what kind of camra? im looking for new one lol

Oh it's just a cheap Nikon S52c (the "c" version has the WiFi). It takes decent pictures but the WiFi feature is the best. Now I don't have the grandparents complaining that they never see any pictures of their grandkids. Its so much easier to email right from the camera... I'm lazy BTW! :thumbsup2

I also have no idea, but how cool is THAT! I'd love a camera that did that.

Ohh neat, can I have that camera? LOL I don't know anything about the WiFi but no, there is no Starbucks inside DL, CA or DTD. Sorry.

What a cool feature on a camera!!

I do not think there are OPEN wifi connections. My DH brought his iTouch into the park one day and tried it, if I'm remembering correctly, he found connections, but they were all locked. I'll have to ask him when he gets home, he'll remember!

I'd suggest also looking at the Grand Californian Hotel's website (or other sites with info about it) to see if there'd be free wifi in the hotel lobby.

Yea I'll be fine once I get back into my room at GCH as I could set up my laptop as an access point. I was thinking it would be fun to email pics while on Mark Twain's riverboat!

I had mine too and couldn't find an open connection, they all required a password.

I can see it now..just like the threads of the "goofiest" ride snap shot photos with people and those darned chess boards pretending to play chess on space mtn. when they snap the pic...there's this guy holding a Camera up trying to connect to the Internet in the dark LOL that would be GREAT:rotfl:

Silly me! He didn't remember! :rotfl2:

I'm pretty sure we were standing in line at the Storybook Canal Boats when he tried.

Interesting little tid-bit about ToonTown though!! ;)

Now that I think about it, I think the TT info will remain a secret from my DH...

every time i have stayed at Disneyland hotel and the Paradise pier the wireless never worked. I had to plug my lap top in. But in GCH i was able to connect wireleslsy.
