Goog morning Simon. You know how hard it has been not to type things like wonderfu on other threads? or in real life? It is way of life. ETA: I love the mad face!!! Buwhahahahaha... it is kind of a family tradition to take and email pictures of our "mad faces".... I have some of my dad being mad in the late 1950s.

I have actually applied for a real job. Gasp. I know! Just the online portion- I need to type up a resume (haven't applied for a job since my computer crashed and went up in a chariot of fire and dude I got a dell) and write a letter (and send in copies of my transcripts- ouch!)... anyways just doing the online portion has me so buzzword-happy....

Yes- near my DH's new job. He has this funny idea that I have too much free time (where could he get that idea??? not from 1600ish posts?), and the twins are going to kindergarten in the fall which would mean only one kid in daycare and he used an unfair advantage by saying something about DVC. It is a full time 9 month position which would be perfect... I doubt I'll get it. I don't have a PhD... I mentioned going back to school to finish and DH broke out into hives J/K .....anyways I am only qualified to teach college courses (cause I don't have a teaching cert.) or go to work in a lab again.

You will laugh so hard it will burn like 500 calories. (That is over 2 Krispy Kreme doughnuts!) I think DH was seriously concerned about my sanity!

Shh! Don't tell anyone- but I went to a special geek school... you know midvale school of the gifted type thing. It was a boarding school. So anyway the lyrics to that song make me laugh so hard....cause I know those guys! Anyway- Donny's dancin' was just icing on the cake.

Twinkie- I cant get too distracted till after church. I leave in an hour. I have a great lesson today. Titled "Helping aroung the House" complete with home-made mini-loaves of whole wheat bread and the story of The Little Red Hen.

My weekend is going so fast.

We had to come back early because my son was alter serving for the second time. He did the water/wine last time. This time he had to carry the candle. I thought for sure he was going to burn the red streaked hair of the teenager holding the cross in front of him or knock it off the table it sits on during mass. But we made it though and he was so proud of himself and the priest said he did a good job.

My mom seemed okay, still on her bland diet until the test results come back on Monday.

Why is it that when you go away even for the weekend there is a ton of wash after. Have to do the kids coats too, they look like the car , full of salt.

Sorry Utah! I didn't know you peeps had afternoon church- we go in the morning so I am already done (actually I stayed home with the small feverish children and DH went as he is the new Junior High Boys leader). Do save Donny till after church. You will want time to laugh hysterically. I am the wrong age to have been a fan but I would be now! Obviously he is a good family man and he has the ability not to take himself too seriously- plus he can dance.

Your lesson sounds great. My mom was a Little Red Hen. I will add my wonder twin powers AND gansta persona to my resume. And Pixie Princess. And my 15 lb WISH ribbon. And use three folks who posted on my TR as references.


Hi Moo- Would you believe that in a school full of geeks I am quite cool by comparision? Is your kitchen clean? I worked on my for like 5 minutes. Still has piles of dishes and I am baking brownies for a church dinner this evening (sorry Celery! hang in there girl! ) DH has been grocery shopping and he doesn't buy diet coke (or pepsi)... at this point I am not picky. I need some carbonation! And caffiene.

Celery- I am moving to a suburb of big city in the midwest. I would love to "look outside my box" but teaching kinda is already that... I also wouldn't mind getting a lab job it just that I am over qualified for entry level stuff (not that I would mind doing it... I just probably can't even get hired) and for the stuff I can do they can get someone with a shiny fresh degree instead of me who has been a full time CEO of Home Economics and Engineering for over 4 years now.

My DH's name is Don and he HATES it when people call him Donny. He corrects them. And NOT very politely. He was called Donny by his family when he was little and some of them cannot break themselves of the habit.

Hubby's name is Joe and his parents and family call him Joey. But I guess it is like us with my son we call him Nicholas and all the kids and people at school calll him Nick. He has even started putting that on his school papers.

DD's new boyfriend came to the house last night. I had just once again lost my highspeed connection, so I asked him if he knew anything about it. Young college kid guy, he should know things, right? He said he was totally computer illiterate He lost some stud points for that, LOL!
