hubby and I had diet pepsi to try to put the fire out in my mouth......they always bring a big basket of their tortilla chips that are freshly made each day and they are warm......but not as WARM as the salsa that Margaritas makes...depending on the bath of peppers that are picked down wherever they come from the salsa can be hotter then a firecracker one time and tame another...well the pepsi put the fire out......They even play music like the Epcot restaurant.....I cna hardly wait for 96 days.....I know Marie you are nuts...but already ready for another break.......

I have to tell you why it gives me the heebie jeebies.......once I was at a house with a big peep hole and when I looked in that is what I saw.......good golly I had nightmares for ever.......just a big ol eye ball looking back at me....well the eye ball was just a picture so no one could look into the peep hole.....but the light from the other side made it look EERIE......so that is my thing about eye balls......even at disney or any other hotel......NOPE.dont look into the peephole

My niece is taking asl at college and will take part two of the class this semester.......my little OWEN learned sign language with the words when he was young.....HECK I could say grapes and more and cheese with my hands....dang I cant remember what cheese is....but grapes is like your fingers (smooshed together) going up and down your arm..

Hey, NAB-ular! Girl, I love my eye!! I couldn't wait until the holidays were over (and for my Wasabi to end) so that I coudl put it back in. What could be better?

Oh, and my back is on the mend!! It still hurts but not nearly as bad as it has been. I just picked up a child and twisted the wrong way. Like a gimp!

Marita, I only "ran away from home" until midnight! Hope you're feeling better.

I ended up going over to my sister's and dropping off the Disney stuff I got for her and her friend. I picked up one of those mugs for my sister that Pongo posted the pics of. The one with Tinkerbell with the fireworks that says something like the nights are bright as the days -- very cute. And a Soarin' shot glass. She told me she never made it onto Soarin' because it was down for repair. I was sad to find that out.

My souvenir shopping got cut short the last night because I wasn't feeling well, so I didn't make it into Mouse Gear as planned. That was OK with her though, since she was just there for Thanksgiving and picked up her own souvies. I also picked up some dog toys and a Pooh Italian charm that her friend wanted. I guess I saved some $$ for my next trip

Nab - Glad Nicholas made it home safely. I had to call my sis to let her know I made it home OK. We are getting freezing rain tonight. Took me almost an hour to drive home instead of half an hour because I was going nice and slow. The salt trucks had been out so the overpasses weren't too bad. Thank goodness!

Nab, I forgot to tell you what book I bought - Testing Kate by Whitney Gaskell. Never read her books before, but it looked like light, fun reading. None of my favorite authors had new books out, so I thought I'd give it a try.

You might try Shem Creek by Dorothea Benton Frank or any of her other books about the South Carolina low country - Pawley Island, Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, Plantation. I enjoyed all of those.

I also like Jennifer Weiner's books - did you see the movie In Her Shoes? I've read and enjoyed all of her books. And Adriana Trigiani's Big Stone Gap series is pretty good. My daughter even liked the Big Stone Gap books, so I think they appeal to a wide range of readers (she usually won't even consider reading the books I read, LOL).

I tried to read all 130 some odd posts but I have to go to bed. I need to take Ryan to the airport in the morning. That is if the roads are open, and if the airport is open, and if the connection flight out of Chicago is not cancelled. But either which way I have to get up and find out.

Sophia's birthday was today and we spent the day at my parents. I didn't bring my lap top. I know! What was I thinking? Sleep deprivation is killer.
