I called cro and tried to get an AP rate for our upcoming vacation and NOPE ...none available but we have our room at French Quarter as dh wants that stinking hot tub available for his old and achy back......I told him it would be cheaper to buy one and have it installed....

Now really really serious now.......Norway is a fast pass.......what do ya think of that......things are truly amazing......now is truly with or without an e.....truley or truly......hmmmmmmmm SPELL CHECK CLIQUE PEOPLE........FRONT AND CENTER.......

be there with you....i started posting on trip reports...ok?...i responded,
doing a summary of what the reader had written about..vettechick &
happyh...."i gave what they were talking about..and some bite my head
off..as if it was ing! between you & me, i prefer posters being
honest then just saying bull. how in the world can one have meanings
for their opinions if they have no feelings? if i make a comment..i am
reporting what i feel or having knowledge of. beleive me, it is easy to
see when others are trying to provoke or "rain" on a post. mostly, i
ignore them...but it really wouldn't take much to ripped 'em. here?
the posters are good hearted and have outstanding insights. that's
makes coming here alot of fun..and educational too! i just an't imagined
no site ..not wanting you! & some of the sneaky funnies are
just the best.

But how funny and deadly that butt grabbing was the habit! If it had been nose picking it would have been funny and enbarrasing, but in a different way! How very comical, though, that she didn't care if YOUR husband grabbed her, she was just mad if it was her own!

Well Kay I thought about it for a good while and I decided that when you put it that way, I would rather NOT have my husband be a public nose picker.
She was actually mad that her husband would break a Lenten promise and was really relieved to find out that he hadn't. It was funny!

Twinkie- That was a great Lent story! I've done that to some OTHER man that was NOT my DH last spring at a Home and Garden Expo . I was standing behind him in a crowd and I swore it was my DH and I grabbed his bum (not in the cute, playful way...in a SERIOUS way) He turned around and just starred at me. My DH just rolled his eyes at me not surprised.

Like I said, as soon as I saw her whip her head around in preparation to go postal I knew what had happened. And yes, he did grab in a very SERIOUS way. Very.

Maybe you guys should institute our new family rule "double check before you grab"


Celery- re your edit question... I don't think so. I think it was just the other. I didn't ask! Remember she was trying to make quitting smoking the lesser of the two evils. BTW- Doug is now an ex-smoker.

Pumba-Thanks for the update! Now as for this spell check clique... I don't think I would make it. I am a horrible speller. And my handwriting is even worse.

Twinkie does that mean when you grade papers they can't tell what letter you have them.....my writing is bad. Ask UMA, now she has beautiful hand writing....Actually I don't write I tend to print everything. I made hubby do all the wedding invites because he writes neater them me.

And forget about spelling....If I can't spell it I look for another word for it

I'm posting this here and not on Kay's thread cuz I don't want to start a war.

Number one - all of the alleged "cliqueish" people welcomed me with open arms. Maybe I'm too dumb to know when I'm being snubbed.

The clique just likes each other. There's nothing wrong with that.

Borg is NOT an inside joke - unless the millions of people who have seen an episode of Star Trek are a "clique."

If you watch the show, you know that the borg are a race who assimilate others. They think and speak and live the same.
Thus, if someone says something that is exactly what you were thinking, you say borg.

No one in the clique explained it to me. I just am smart enough to figure it out. And if you DON'T get it, just ask someone. They'll explain.

Just like on the riddle. A lot of people a few months ago were asking for the history of the riddle - so someone wrote it. I think it was Donna.

Maybe there are evil cliques on the DIS somewhere, but not that I've seen.

Oh. LYMI means love ya, mean it. It's kind of tongue in cheek. No one had to explain that one either - I just figured it out.

Maybe I'm too smart for cliques.

Celery woooo hoooty on the 20 pounds! I know it hasnt been pleasant. But it will all be worth it. I'll try to think up some science-fiction method to make weight loss easier. I could stand to lose a few pounds myself. I used to be able to drop ten pounds in a week with a crash diet, but it isn't nearly as easy now. Mostly what crashes is my willpower.

Pumba I was just thinking I hadn't "seen you" for a couple days. Hang in there. I only see my mother a couple times a week at the nursing home. Your every day routine would have me pulling my hair out. My mother and I get along pretty well and she is good tempered but she's in her 80s and gets a case of "the stupids" now and then when simple things confuse her, and we go around in circles on everyday things like using a cordless phone, a CD player, radio. Sometimes I want to bang my head in frustration on her tray table!

MommyP Sorry to hear about your insurance woes. I hope the Medicaid plan or something along those lines works out for you.

Drebert I don't think we've met. Congrats on losing 10.5 pounds. As for losing 9.5 inches, it sounds like you must be getting pretty short by now!

Kay, I think we met way back when but, it's nice to meet you again! I was short to begin with!

Celery- Cliques are a good thing, at least in our sense they are. We welcome all and exclude none. That is an awful feeling, being excluded (not that I'd know ).

Actually, I think Lil' Grumpy might be an original also...we almost shunned him, thought he was weird...turns out he was just misunderstood. Literally.

We're not going anymore. DH isn't going to have a full pay check this week and doesn't even know if there is work next week.

I managed to only spend 136 at the store, including feminine products and diapers. Of course now that we aren't going on our trip, we have snacks and bottled waters to survive a week on.

I have a headache tonight. I'm off to the bath.

I'm just saddin' that I likes me some Borged out Maelstromming friends. My co-workers all look at me strangely when I say things like CARP! or PUFFER! But that only makes me chuckle all the more.

They probably don't even know what a Fastpass is. But that just makes me feel said for them. I love the fact that I know that WT stands for Wheat Thins, and that I'd really wear a LYMI pin!

And let me just say how interesting it is to me, in general, that the DIS boards have so many lawyers on them. Has anyone else noticed this???

I watch Murder she wrote all the time - It's on at least twice a day on the biography channel.

And they almost always have little mini info commercials for weird stuff.
Lately it's for "listen up"
So you can listen in on what your neighbors are saying.

Celery I do know what some of the abbrevations are some I don't. I can see how it could get frustrating at times.

Ask UMA we played a trick on her along time ago , will Twinkie made us do it..... We had short forms that made no sense. Mattter a fact I don't even know when and how she found out what we were doing. It was hard to keep the joke up too. Because we had to figure out what everyone was saying too.

Steph we are glad that you come around and didn't leave us too. We just want to laugh and enjoy each others company. And yes these people make us smile in our everyday lives , hubby thinks I am nuts at times.....
