Im for MA we are starting to get heavy winds and rains its around 39 degrees here
I wanted to see high tide, it was amazing

and I'll share my Mother's Weekend pic - I went down to the Univ. of Il this weekend for Mother's weekend, it was also my DS 19th bday... I took him to lunch at Texas Roadhouse, they were so nice, they gave him a free ice cream sundae, they even sang to him... oh, but he did have to sit on the saddle.. and good sport that he is.. he did!!

DS 21 took pity on dear old maw, I couldnt book a hotel room (4 months in advance, I wouldnt have gone that weekend, but for ds 19 was playing in his first College musical.. My fair Lady... and he got me front row center seats... and he had several solos...) anyway, ds 21 let me bunk with him in his "dorm" type room... I am so old!! But extremely blessed!

No snow here, Nab! My DD is kinda worried about the rain she might encounter on her drive back to NC tomorrow, though.

Kelly, I would LOVE to be able to go to the beach and watch the waves and tide at different times of the year. It's a pretty long drive to Lake Michigan for me and it's just not the same as the ocean.

by the by, we adopted them!! went to Petfinders.org and searched. . . and low and behold there are people that take in rodents and try and find good homes for them... Bless the beasts and the children...

I dunno Moo, I grew up on the banks of Lake Michigan, the Indiana Dunes... I may just have to disagree with you...

I have to say its great. We moved here last July and we are 5 mon from Hampton Beach. It was so cool to watch the waves down there tonight. I am not ahuge beach person but I love it now. I dont go in the water that much. I dont want JAWS to eat me, and dont tell me he cant havent you seen the movie. IT was a stealth eating machine.
My kids love it and DH loves the beach so that cool. I wanna be down in FL and we might end up there eventually.
