Kelly, depends on what your priorities are as to YC or Saratoga. If you are talking 1 br including kitchen, I would probably go with that for extra space. If not, YC, you get the awesome pool, if that is important to your family, plus walking distance to Epcot and Boardwalk and MGM. (plus you have the boats there too)

I dunno Moo, I grew up on the banks of Lake Michigan, the Indiana Dunes... I may just have to disagree with you...

(what are the Michigan dunes... somethign about Bear Mountain.. singing sands??)

Sandy, they're Sleeping Bear Dunes. They're way up north by Traverse City. When I go for a day trip, I usually go to South Haven (my favorite nearish beach is next to a nuke plant ), Grand Haven, or Holland.

I'm not saying I don't like Lake Michigan, but I do really enjoy the ocean with the tides and shells.

The great thing about the Great Lakes is no sharks, Kelly!

DH said that tongiht maybe YC would be better we love walking to EPcot and MGM. I keep flip flopping. Saratoga might be ok but its so far away from everything ir it just feels that way. I do love the GF but we had check in issues last time, no room til after 5pm among them.

Kelly, you might get check-in issues anywhere, just depends on the activity that day. And the GF is my baby hotel, so I am prejudiced towards that. Trying to wean myself, LOL.

Of course its usually too cold to swim in...

I remember camping near Holland Michigan as a kid... Michigan has some amazing campgrounds - hmmmm I tried google, and still couldnt come up with a name, but its down near the Indiana border...

Yep, Warren Dunes, Sandy. It has an oceany feel there, but a pretty long drive and too much walking on soft sand for me

I live in MA right on the MA NH border. I live 5 min from Hampton Beach and went down there tonight so I could see high tide in the noreaster.

I was just explaning I dont like the ocean as I dont want jaws to eat me and I am willin gto look for him while my new friends swim.

also while I was flippin thru the channels the Turner classic Movies was on, and the Shamuu killer whale was jumpin out of the water and smashin a tiny wooden chris craft boat!! Not sure the name, but it was a Killer Whale!!
