Oops! I let my Kohl's Cash expire!

I just realized that I let my Kohl's Cash expire. I thought it was good until the 31st, but it expired on May 26. It was $90 worth too, so I'm super sad.

Is there anything I can do, or am I just out the $90? I was just going onto the website to place an order, and then I realized that the Kohl's Cash expired last night.

you can't use it online but they will take them in the store even if they are expired. I used some that had expired a year and they took them no problem!

My Kohl's allows me to use my Kohl's Cash after it expire .

You can try at a store, some are more strict than others. I used to work at Kohls and we were told only 30 percent of Kohls cash gets turned in.

they took mine in the store NOT online... as they just want you back to spend money so try it

I think any store will take it; if you google "expired kohls cash" I found tons of pages where they say they will accept it and none that said they wouldn't. You are good! Have fun spending your $90!

My store wouldn't take my expired Kohl's cash - I went in and tried and they said no way. It wasn't expired very long either. I have some now that expires June 10 and I will definitely be back there before then. Hopefully the OP's store is one of the nice ones!

Really?! I hope so too then. Maybe you should have held on to the other Kohls cash that expired though, it sounds like you might have been able to try another Kohls (especially in another city, like on a vacation) and had some success. If I had almost $100 in KC, I'd be trying to spend it somewhere for the next couple years before I gave up! I have a hard time letting a deal go!

I agree it depends on the store, or maybe the cashier. I had some, and the first Kohls I went to the cashier said no, the second Kohls accepted it no problem. Mine was about six months expired.

I will say the first cashier was a young man, the second one an older woman, so I don't know if it was a difference in store policy or if the older woman knew what it was like for those of us who are over age 50 forgetting everything and took pity on me.

I believe it used to be dependent on the store, but now Kohls has it as a company wide policy to accept expired Kohls cash. They are suppose to say "Yes" to anything they can... and this is one of the spelled out examples.

You can check with the service desk and they should be able to okay it. Also, when I worked at Kohl's one Christmas season, we were told to take the discount % a couple days before or after in that just say yes line of thought whenever someone asked.

I heard one of the cashiers tell someone they would no longer take expired ones. My $10 expired yesterday!

Some Kohl's stores will allow you to use expired, but others will not. Good luck!

I would assume Kohl's workers are like CMs. You can get a different answer depending on who you ask.

I've never had expired Kohl's cash, but I know there's no problem with returns. I returned some shoddy merchandise with no problems. If even the manager gives you a hard time, try another store. There are so many of them now.
