Onsite Options for 6

From talking to ressies at Loews, they are telling me there are no options for 6 in a room at any of the hotels (well, maybe suites, but I didn't go there, lol).

Options available for 5 include kids suite at PB: king, two twins and a roll-away. Personally, I have no problem putting six of us here, with the youngest in the king bed with mom and dad. It's 525 square feet. We only intend to use room for sleeping anyways.

Other option is HRH: Deluxe is two queens and a pull-out sofa. Again, no problem with two in each bed and either two in sofa or add a roll-away. Room is 500 square feet.

Do we really have to have two connecting rooms? The price will send us off-site which is not an option -- this is for three nights at the end of February vacation 2006 and if we can't stay onsite with FOTL we will opt out. Just trying to add a mini-vacation to a two-week timeshare stay further south.

Any ideas? Anyone ever put 6 in a room anyways? pirate:

in early May we have 5 people in a deluxe room at the HRC - we had plenty of room and plenty of space for luggage. The only benefit to 2 connecting rooms is that you have another bathroom. But if that's not a problem, I would say 6 people could be very comfortable in a deluxe room at the hrh. After staying on site & using FOTL, I would never again stay off site. Kids had a great time & we enjoyed the hotel. Good luck :flower:

Well, I know that "legally" they won't let us have 6 in a room so that means only 5 roomkeys for FOTL access. Was thinking of maybe having the youngest child, 6, be without FOTL. What are the chances he will be asked for his access/roomkey card? :smooth:

5 people are allowed in ANY room type at any of the three on-sites. I am sorry to say that if you put 6 the 6th will not get a room key and no matter how old that person is the card for every person must be scanned or shown for each attraction/show and sometimes more than once.

Only a 2 bedroom suite or 2 connecting rooms would work. RPR would be least expensive.

The five in a room has to do with fire codes and the hotels have to strictly adhere to it or they can be in big trouble. :firefight

Are they like Disney which doesn't 'count' a child under 3 (infant/toddler)? That is, if a room's official max capacity is 5, Disney will let you book it as 5 + 1 infant.
