Online Reservations - Awesome!

So I just had to gloat, I found this online system to be easy to use and I loved the fact that it would pull up other "suggested" restaurants or times if your restaurant was not available. This was a lot of fun to use!

Here are the ressies I scored (we have the DxDP):

January 22:
Citricos - 7pm

January 23:
Tutto Italia - 1pm
Flying FIsh - 8:30pm

January 24:
Kona Cafe - 10:10am
'Ohana - 5pm

January 25:
Sci-Fi - 11:10am
Brown Derby - 5:45pm

January 26:
California Grill - 7:15pm

January 27:
Tusker House - 10:20am
Jiko - 6:30pm

January 28:
Le Cellier - 12:50pm
Rose and Crown (for Illuminations) - 7:05pm


Everything within 30 minutes of what I wanted!

WOW!! Congrats!! I will be up at 3am Sunday for my first day and 3 am Monday for the rest of my trip! I pray my experience is as good as yours!

bunkkinsmom - the system seems to be coming up at 6 AM now - no more 3 AM. It rolled over at exactly 6 AM this morning and others reported the same this week. Also, if you're on-site for all your days, you should be able to make all your ADRs on the first day, using the +10 - worked for me this morning, even though we have 2 separate stays with the cruise in the middle of them.

piano -- great reservations. I want your Tutto/Flying Fish day! I also had a great experience this morning - even added Le Cellier and CRT to my list at the last minute with no problem. Now just waiting for DH to get up so we can discuss whether he wants to keep those and cancel some others.

I also got a F! package this morning for 1/28 if anyone was wondering about that (had to call on the phone at 7 AM).

I booked this morning and also thought it was a smooth process online After all the horror stories that were circulating when it first came out I was afraid but it seemed to work great!

Congrats!!!! I also got everything I wanted on line this AM too!!!!! SOOOOO Happy!!!! I also called and got the Fantasmic Dinner Package for the 28th so we are all set.....no problems at all!!!

My only question is...Can I go back online and look at or change those ressies if I need to.....I can't figure out how or where to do that...anyone know????

I haven't tried it, but I understand you can make changes but you have to pull it up by the reservation # for the meal.

I haven't tried it, but I understand you can make changes but you have to pull it up by the reservation # for the meal.

You can check them online. I logged on to the WDW site and then went to my disney vacation...then to dining reservations. The annoying thing is you have to enter each confirmation number to pull them up. I don't know how to change them online though, that's as far as I have gotten.

for example lets say you want Chef Mickey Reservations on a Friday Dec 1th and there is no availability I think it would be a nice feature if it would give you other days and times during a week span that the restaurant does have availability.

Yes, it's obviously set up by time and general location than by restaurant. That's why it can show you other restaurant choices around the same time you requested and around the same location you requested, but not all of the openings for a particular week for one restaurant.

Disney probably figures that for most people - eating in the general time and place they want is more important than eating at a particular restaurant any time at all during their vacation.

I agree, but it would be nice to have the option especially for the more popular restaurants like Ohana, Chef Mickeys, L'Cellier, CRT, etc. I know they are the exception not the rule but a more advanced search is def possibly using a computer system and would be more helpful for a guest looking to experience these restaurants. If the ADR system gave options for the entire week of your stay it would help guests possibly get the "hard to get reservation" easier.

6am? Ok, well I'm camping in the Appalachians tonight, so it's probably for the best. Yes, I am staying on property, but I haven't made my ressie for the first night yet. It's a Saturday and the points for OKW were way out of my range, so we are going to get an all-star for the first night. So I have to wait until Monday am, 90 days from my OKW ressie.

I have to agree- the online reservation system was wonderful! I did get up at 3:00, but easily went back to bed until 6:00. I had to call about Liberty Tree Tavern but the call was quick and I got the time I wanted.

I agree with this. For some people it is more important to eat at a certain restaurant during their stay no matter what day they can get the reservation for.
