online reservation problems

I'm on hold now...fingers crossed it actually works. Website says it's still down for maintenance.
 
Earlier this week there was a glich in the system and the Dining would not recognize anyones Resort Confirmation numbers so you could not make ADR's. (Fantasmic ressie for Oct 24th) got 4:05 yay!

I had to call in and she said all the system was having trouble not just online. Even she had trouble pulling up my confirmation # by the actual numbers, she had to find me by name and checkin date.
 

It worked!!! The line was super choppy and hard to hear her, but we got everything we wanted (Les Chef, CRT, Ohana, and CG).
 
When you call WDW Dine, right after it picks up there is a message telling you that the CMs on the phone cannot use the system either. So, no new dining reservations can be done online or over the phone until they're done doing whatever they are doing to the system.

Apparently, people are having success over the phone, though??? So, why do they even have that message?

Edited to add...the message is gone now. Trying to do my ADRs over the phone.

It said that for me this morning at 7. I tried a few times and got the same message. Tried at 11 and got through. But it was long and I could barely make out most of what she said. I just logged in online and my reservations are there.
 
Sounds like a nightmare! I am nowhere close to my 180 days and I am glad!
 
Ok, I got through on the phone after a couple of minutes and got all my ADRs! Yay! :yay:
 
Just got all of ours too by calling they couldn't access T Rex so I called directly and got that also:banana::thumbsup2
 
I just got off the phone. I just needed to make 2 ressies...one for Askershush and the other for BBB. It took 45 minutes.

This CM was reading from her script and jumping all over the place. She had to put me on hold several times. She lost my information twice. When I told her I wanted the BBBat DTD, she proceeded to make the ressie at MK. When I told her I wanted a lunch ressie at Akershush, she asked me what time did I want between 445 and 800pm. It took her 10 minutes to determine that those were not lunch hours.

The phone line was very choppy for me as well.

In the few times we have been to Disney I have never had such a frustrating call as this one.

I am just grateful that I got what I wanted when I wanted it.
 
What a nightmare! I called five times last night to change the time for one of my ADR's. I would be on hold for a few minutes and then the call would transfer to the guest survey which starts after the call is over. On the fifth try, I called the number for resort reservations and had them transfer me to the dining queue.
