Online Check In ?

Have never done this. For those who have, do you think you get your room requests more often if you take advantage of it? Thanks.

No, online check-in IMHO is only designed to speed up the check-in process. Some have reported the online check-in line being longer than the regular check-in line. I have never experienced this.

We've also been very lucky to have our room ready. Maybe because they know our arrival time or we've just been lucky.

When I use online check in I often get my room ready sooner and no request. When I don't use online check in, I often get my request and have to wait for my room. For me it depends which is important. My last trip I was switching rooms mid-week, so I opted to use online check in and got my room at 8:30, but as always, I got no requests.

I agree. We have never noticed any benefit for us.

I just did ours for next week. I'll let you know how it goes but in the past I have been very lucky.

Before on-line check-in, we got our requests and got room early 50% of the time. With on-line check-in we have got our requests and got room early 50% of the time. DVC says it is supposed to be a quicker check-in. It does not say it is supposed to give you higher chance of getting room early or getting requests.
