Online check in and bookings

Next year will be my first time booking at Platinum.

When we sailed in 2014, we did not book anything online, just did check in and port time arrival. So it's been a while since I ddi this.

Not sure if anything in the system has changed or strategies have changed, but to be prepared -- is it still available to start bookings on your date at 12:01 a.m. EST?

yes, it opens at Midnight EST. Check in is pretty much the same except for now you can also book some of the meet and greets and character breakfast online. Have a great trip!

Just one note - sometimes the DCL website isn't ready at midnight. There have been reports of people not being able to get in until 2:00, 4:00, even 6:00 the next morning. If that happens to you, just take comfort in the fact that it's happening to others also, and no one has an advantage over another.

I have heard that sometimes it's your internet capability -- that others get in while some don't get an immediate connection

Well, I know that was true when DCL changed their website, but I think that's been fixed. I think when there's a delay with the check in/excursion window opening it's for everyone now.

00.00 for

Port adventures.
Adults meals
Spa
Meet and greet.
Character breakfasts.
Cabanas
Nursery.

Normally works at 00.00.

On line check in, seems to sometimes come up between 00.00 and 03.00 The prolific reports of issues of not coming up,mrelste to OLCI only.

Advice.
Never click twice.it doesn't speed it up.
Never have others go in on the reservation at the sane time, if you on different devices.

Log in on website via castaway club> my cruises> current cruise reservation. Wait on the current cruise reservation number and only click it at 00.00 Internet time USA Eastern, IE 05.00 UK.

You are on the right thought process, it's the way people route in , log in, maybe have , multi devices logged in, iPhone iPad, PC etc. Some browsers are slow. Some get all the family to log in, or when clicking my cruise activities, click it twice, " to speed it up' and it thinks more than one person is logging in.

I could do the Port Adventures, Palo Brunch, Character meet and greets at 12:00am EST, but could not do my online check in until the morning. It didn't really matter for the online check in portion since I'm Platinum but I know it's still happening to others. I didn't matter if I used a different browsers, iPad vs iMac, vs. regular PC, etc. That was my experience

I found that bar OLCI it does work fast, but if your first up at 120 days, OLCI is often up three hours later, doesn't matter you do not need a PAT.

Gold, Silver etc, had OLCI come up far quicker.
