Beware!!!! I used the online option to make ADR's and my credit card was charged when making Hoop De Do Revue adr. (I had read somewhere on the boards that only $1.00 would be charged and they only needed a cc to make sure it was a valid #; not true in this case.) Anyway, called dining # waited 12 minutes; then was disconnected. Called back, waited 15 minutes before getting to talk to someone. He was very nice but I don't think he was very experienced. He said cc should have never been charged; not sure what happened. He kept having to go ask someone what to do but after about 1/2 hour I had a cancellation #, refund in progress and was rebooked.
This morning I tried to retrieve all of my adr's and can only get 2 of 5 to come up. I have tried to enter different phone numbers but still no go. I guess I will have to spend another hour on the phone trying to get this mess straightened out. The dining option on the website sucks. It's almost like you have to sneak up on what you need and be quick or the option you need disappears. I work in IT and there is really no excuse for Disney's websites to be in such a shape.
Long story short. Credit card may be charged when making 2TS adr's
Will update and let everyone know the status of the rest of my adr's. I suspect all have been cancelled except the 2 I could find.

I assume youre on the DDP since you posted on the DDP board in which case no it should not have been charged. Thats why I dont trust a brand new system that everyone has been complaining about for the last 3 months

Only the dinner shows and CRT actually require prepayment. California Grill requires a credit card hold. All other 2 credit restaurants do not charge anything or require a credit card to make a reservation.

In order to not charge you, the online system must verify that you are on the dining plan. Therefore you must input your resort reservation number (there is a space to do this on the booking window) before reserving CRT or a dinner show. If you put in your reservation number, and your resort reservation included the dining plan at the time you made the reservation, you are not supposed to be charged and should only have to add the credit card number to hold the reservation. If you did input your resort reservation number and your card was still charged, something is probably wrong with the system and it isn't recognizing the dining plan the way it is supposed to.
