Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

...found that I was double booked at every restaurant.

I had the same thing St morning. Put in my CC and got an error.

Called Disney @ 7 and CM checked - no reservations.

He rebooked everything for me.

Found out yesterday, my original online stuff DID go through, so yesterday's CM had to cancel tons of ADR's (second issue along w/ the first) and straighten out everything for me... 2hrs48min on the phone w/her!!

Major glitch in the system, if you ask me!!

I'm on hold.. they told me 11 minutes - I hope that I got the 3 that gave me blank emails. I need the confirmation #s, Of course it was my Ohana dinner, CRT, and Princess Norway!!! ack!!

I got a blank email and the reservations associated with it did go through. I am sure you got them, but waiting until you can call to check and get confirmation #'s is painful.

I'm on hold now...they said 25 mins. I called right at 7am.

I went online at 6am and easily got Teppan Edo and 50's Prime Time (lunch). I could not get CM for dinner on 9/21 no matter what I did...ergh! So I went with WCC, but it's not till 7pm. Do you think they'll allow us to come in earlier? Fingers crossed for that....kids will be BEAT by then.

No Le Cellier options for us. I did not look for lunches, only dinners. I did pick up a San Angel Inn and Garden Grill, which weren't even on my original list, but they both look nice.

I'll keep trying for that CM dinner...I really wanted that on 9/21, our first night there.

Here's what we have:

9/21 - WCC 7pm
9/22 - Chef Mickey's 7:35am
San Angel Inn 6pm -- WILL DROP ONE OF THESE
9/23 - 50s PrimeTime 12:05pm
9/24 - Teppan Edo 4:50pm
9/25 - Garden Grill 5:50pm
Teppan Edo 5:50pm -- WILL CANCEL THIS ONE WHEN THEY ANSWER!

Good luck everyone! And if you have a CM dinner for 9/21 you don't want, please let me know!!! ;)

The good news is that I called and she did locate them. She had to go in to the restaurant and the time - my phone # wasn't pulling it up.

But, it is confirmed and I have the confirmation #s now.

Phew!

Gald to here they had your info. It's enough to drive you nuts.

I was on hold for 20 min, then someone picked up and said she would transfer me to dining... :confused3
Then the recording said I will be on hold for 25 min.
But, if I get Le Cellier, it will be worth it.

It looks good . Just keep trying online you nevr know when something will open. Good Luck :thumbsup2

I did all my ADRs this morning online also noticed I couldnt pull up ressie for Biergarten thru their page had to go thru another EP restaurant and then choose Biergarten got everything I wanted except Ohana so I chose Kona instead. Also I couldnt get Le Cellier for dinner had to take lunch and had to be flexible on my days. I may try and change that I dont know.I guess leaving MK and heading to LC for lunch at 1:30 on our first day isnt worst case senario but..I dont like the online ADR just b/c I think it just makes your chances of getting what you want slim to none.. I havent recvd a email yet but I did write down my confirmation #s

Okay, this online reservation thing is driving me NUTS. I was up at 6am this morning to work on my ADR's, and I haven't stopped yet! The site crashed twice, making me lose all the reservations (hadn't confirmed them yet), and then for some reason I couldn't retrieve my reservations online afterwards. I had to phone Disney to verify my confirmation numbers. The CM could confirm them, but she couldn't retrieve them all together either. I made the reservations linked to my hotel reservation and I gave my cell number each time.

My question now is.........how do I retrieve my reservations??? Anyone have a link to the webpage? I'm stumped. I can only find the webpage to MAKE reservations, but I'm done making them. I just want to verify that the information is correct.

Thanks so much........Is 8:30am too early to have a drink? ;)

I had the same problem--every rest would work except Teppan Edo, which was the one I was trying to book. I went through LeCellier's page, because nothing available there. I couldn't book a decent dinner time in Epcot on 9/23, so settled for lunch on 9/22 at Teppan Edo--dh's choice. Everything else: Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey, Liberty Tree, and Planet Hollywood (dh's choice--I wanted Raglan Road) booked easily within minutes of what I wanted. Epcot for dinner, :headache:though--what a bear.

Used online booking, btw. When I called at 7am, 25 min wait. I already had 3 of the ressies made online. Did have some issues with crashing, so I'll call later today to get a CM to make sure I'm not double-booked anywhere. I was able to retrieve all my ressies after rebooting and returning to the dining page and have confirm #s for all. Starting to seem real now :cloud9:

Thanks to the mods for directing me to this thread! Thank you!

I hope you don't mind my asking another question. Dh and I are celebrating our anniversary. I tried entering our "celebration" info into one of our reservations (Narcoossee's) and it seemed to work fine. However, when I went back in to check that reservation, no celebration was listed. Any ideas?

As I posted yesterday, 90+10 was not working on my reservation. I called at 7 and was able to book the 90+10. I logged in today and now 90+10 is working for my reservation. It makes me wonder if it was somehow off a day? I did not check between noon yesterday and 9:00am EDT today, but it was working this morning. There were plenty of dinner openings at Le Cellier and Ohana starting on Sunday Sept 27th through Weds Sept 30th, nothing before that.

Hi, My BIG day is tomorrow morning, Weds. the 24th. Once I enter my resort reservation # at 6am, will the 10 day booking window open up automatically? Or do I need to do something else?

Now I'm nervous, as I see so many people not getting what they wanted.

Thanks!

It really is enough to drive you nuts.

She could not pull them up by the phone number that I booked with (my cell #) or the phone # for my reservation (house number). She had to pull each one up individually and look at the time and the date and there we were.

I am slightly nervous because I cannot pull them up online in the system either.

But I have confirmation #s for all of them.

Worked for me--as soon as I added my resort reservation number, a little blurb pops up with your stay dates--automatically takes you to the calendar starting with those dates. The only tough one I had was dinnertime in Epcot. We've settled for a lunch res and hope the CS are still open in the evening of the 23rd. We didn't go for any big names, though, like O'Hana, etc., so ymmv. Be flexible. I've already changed one I made this morning.

My travel agent and I decided to tag team it today. We thought I might have better luck if she tried to book online, and I called.

She got on early and booked my reservations, and then I called at 7. After all the horror stories, I was worried, but I called right at 7am, and the menus even skipped all the questions you normally have to answer and went immediately to a very helpful cast member. He had trouble retrieving my reservation, but after a couple minutes, he pulled it up, and we were good to go.

When my travel agent had emailed me the reservations, for some reason, they didn't all display, so I ended up booking duplicates of everything she did. And when I say "duplicates", I mean almost all of our reservations were at the same exact time.

The reason I'm writing is:
1. When she emailed me my reservations, the screenshot gave my name and a phone number I haven't had in years. This goes along the lines with other people who keep putting in phone numbers and not having success. If you booked directly through Disney and can't retrieve your reservation, TRY EVERY NUMBER YOU HAVE HAD (this tip obviously excludes those unfortunate few who have the correct number, and it's still not retrieving).

2. It almost pays to have a travel agent book your reservations. I had asked for CRT lunch mid-vacation (so three or so days into the trip). She booked my reservations before the 6am opening for customers. When I called at 7, there was no availability at all. The fact that she was able to get in before regular customers was a blessing.

3. I was able to retrieve all of the bookings, hers and mine (meaning the 7am call bookings), and compare and cancel what I needed to. I just needed to use my old phone number for her bookings and my phone number for my bookings. This was EXTREMELY helpful, as the cast member had put a celebration of Anniversary and then "NOT_CELEBRATING" in. So there's a good chance no one would have said anything to us, thinking we weren't celebrating!

I was able to get within twenty minutes of every booking I asked for, and this included Le Cellier, Citricos, California Grill, Cinderella's Royal Table, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Rose and Crown right around Illuminations time (on September 21st, 90 days today! Imagine that!). I was VERY impressed.

It sucked that I couldn't retrieve my own reservation and do everything myself, but it was great that I could go back and edit (with the exception of my duplicate California Grill reservation-- I had to call and cancel that one) as needed. It felt like some of the control was there.

I'm still very grateful my agent was able to get in earlier though!
