You need your reservation number in order to get the +10. If you booked through DVC or with a Travel Agent, then it won't work for you right now.

Has anyone with a Mac tried to book? I tried last night from home and couldn't....but when I came to work and logged onto my windows based computer, I could....just wondering if my fellow Appl-ites could try and see what happens for them.

Thanks,
Jaime

I use a Mac and couldn't get the online ADR's to work when I was using Safari but when I tried Firefox it worked great. Strange!

How do you save favorites for ressie day?Mine is Sunday

You can't save favorites -- not in the way you're thinking. It should work by adding all your favorites (turning the heart blue) and then clicking on "Favorites" and only those TS spots appear on the webpage. That way, when you're ready to book, your preferences are right there for you. However, it doesn't work. It may work like that in the future, but right now clicking on "Favorites" takes you to an age-old Disney webpage that hardly has any connection with the previous page and doesn't even mention most of the current TS locations. Basically, it's a useless feature at this point.

4. The CM on wdw-dine warned me about having conflicting ADRs. I had a 5:45 for Sanaa (phone ADR) and a 6:05 for Boma (online ADR). She claimed that "guest services" would be looking for conflicts and making cancellations. So, that forced me to make the decision I was planning to make later, about which ADR to keep.

Wondering what they will be considering conflicting? Obviously, a 5:45 and 6:05 would be but what will be the cut-off.:confused3 Will they cancel both ADR's with no warning? Just wondering. I think on-line ADR's are great but I do worry about people abusing the system and how it will be handled.

I would suggest that if you are making a split reservation for a party of 10, with one table for 6 and one table for 4, either at the same TS location or at two various locations, don't assume that Disney Dining will figure this out, particularly if both ADRs are made using the same log-in/registered information. Either make ADRs on separate accounts, or, if you make them on the same account, make a note to Disney Dining either online or by calling that these are not double-bookings or conflicts -- that you intended to do this and use both ADRs.

So far, online, there is a pop-up warning that informs you of double-bookings, but it doesn't arbitrarily cancel one. It asks you to cancel one, or, if it is for split reservations, it kindly allows you to continue. Disney needs to fix this loophole. Their standards are way too forgiving.

I only use safari, so I'll try downloading Firefox. It wouldn't work for me and I am so anti-windows, personally, it's okay for work.

Thanks for your advice, I have something to try.

Am I missing something? Everyone seems to keep talking about all the slots available for dining times when they look online but when I looked (just playing right now, my ADR date is not until next week), most of "my" choices are showing not available for the latest Sept. date open for ADR's.

Thanks for the info. I agree about the too forgiving part. I worry about abuses of the system eventually ruining the on-line booking. However, I also
don't want Disney cancelling my ADR's if they deem them as conflicting when I plan on using them. The one I'm worried about is a night that I have a 5:20 and a 7:55 on the same night that I plan to use because of two different parties. Didn't see any place to make a note to Disney and don't want them to cancel both of them.:scared1:

I am having the same problem with not showing any open times. I make ADR's on Sunday and I desparately want to get CM dinner our first and only night we will be at the CR. So far playing around with the ADR's I can't find really anything for CM, but it actually brings up suggestions for CRT at good times like 5:30 or 6:00. Is CM really harder to get now than CRT?

Good luck! Hope it works for you. I do love the on-line ADR's. I've been able to tweak some times that I couldn't on the phone. :cool1:

Am I right to assume that when making an ADR online you first need to log onto WDW website, the same way you would when making a hotel reservation.

That's how I'm doing it. After you're done it automatically sends you a confirmation to the email on your profile. It knows I'm an AP holder. I checked for WC for August 19th for breakfast (during the first week of free dining) and I had no problem getting a breakfast ADR for a party of 9. I had my choice of 8:05, 8:45, 9:20. Of course, being a DVC member, I can't pull of my room reservations. I tried a ton of different ways and it just doesn't work.

OK I have read through probably 10 pages and I am sure this has been asked, but here goes,
If you booked your trip through a TA and you have your confirmation # why can you not book online?

If you can book online why not the + 10?

Can you get the TA to book online at 6:01...not sure that I will because I do think that's a bit much to ask for:)
Is it possible to obtain info from her to book the ADR's, if so what info is needed from my TA?
She is a friend of ours so I have a little bit of a different situation.

Oh now my OCD is at a high, I was prepared to call right at 7 on the 23 now people will have a whole hour jump start on me?!?!?!?! I have to whine....its not fair!!!!!!

Nobody really knows why right now (so far as what I have read here), it's just one of those "it is what it is" things right now, that hopefully Disney will work on it fast.

It's also affecting DVC members who can't make reservations with the +10 online, and they didn't even have the 'advantage' of using a Travel Agent.

Like any neat new thing, it's not without bugs. HOPEFULLY they get worked out soon. (I'll be booking DVC for our January trip and hope to make my reservations online)

Thank you for responding to my question.
